A few weeks ago, we had the chance to get a sneak peek of the Obama Presidential Center. What an incredible experience! Seeing the beauty, vision, and intentionality behind the center made us incredibly proud, and very emotional. Excited to celebrate today’s opening and all that this center will mean for generations to come.

Detroit, you were amazing! ✨

I had the honor of helping kick off the new season of our BOWRETTES mentorship and entrepreneurship program, and my heart is still full.

These middle school scholars showed up with creativity, courage, and confidence as they developed business ideas, created pitches, and presented them to a panel of judges. Watching them step outside of their comfort zones and believe in themselves was truly inspiring.

Our winning teams visited local businesses and experienced entrepreneurship in real time. There’s nothing like helping young people see what’s possible when vision meets hard work.

I am grateful for my BOW sisters @the_b.o.w._collective who poured into these girls with wisdom, encouragement, and love. It was a beautiful reminder that when women come together to mentor and uplift the next generation, amazing things happen.

Thank you to our president @niccoberesquire for your vision and leadership in bringing this program to life.

And the excitement continues…Charlotte, my hometown , you’re up next! 💚

What a beautiful beginning. 💕

On Saturday, Pretty Is as Pretty Does (PIAPD) — founded by Sydney and me — hosted our inaugural event at Central Piedmont Community College, and our hearts are so full.

We were honored to welcome 18 incredible girls who came ready to bond, grow, and learn about beauty from the inside out. We talked about self-esteem, affirmations, grace, confidence, and what it truly means to be beautiful in spirit and action. The transparency, the sisterhood, and the “nuggets” shared in that room were powerful.

A heartfelt thank you to Principal Turner for allowing us to use your space and helping us create such a meaningful experience.

To our amazing Board Chair, @ciemoneshep who flew in from Florida just for the day — your presence meant more than you know. And to our dedicated board members — I truly could not have done this without you. Your support, belief, and commitment to these girls is everything.

This was just the beginning. I am so excited for what’s ahead and the impact we will continue to make together.

Ending the first month of this new year in Palm Springs, Ca with @theknowwomen was an absolute blast! From engaging fireside chats and delightful surprises to shopping to wonderful meals.

Being surrounded by incredible women at The Winner's Circle was both grounding and affirming. There are moments when I paused and asked myself, how did I end up in these rooms? And then I remember- it's because I show up fully, I give 110%, I build authentic relationships and I care deeply about people. I lead with respect and grace, regardless of how others may treat me.

A heartfelt thank you to @sarahbenkenfoushee for creating such a safe and intentional space for us. ✨Last night was truly special ✨

I am honored to be included and recognized in @theknowwomen KNOW Charlotte, Volume 7—among an incredible group of exceptional women in business right here in my city.

What made the evening even more meaningful was having my family there with me. Their love, support, and presence mean everything to me. Family has been the foundation of my success and the core of who I am!

Standing in that room, surrounded by brilliance, purpose, and power, reminded me how strong the Charlotte community of women truly is. The event was beautiful, the energy was inspiring, and the connections were unforgettable.

I’m grateful to be part of this community and to have the opportunity to network, grow, and celebrate alongside so many fabulous women making an impact across Charlotte.

Excited to introduce our nonprofit, PIAPD (Pretty is as Pretty Does), co-founded with my amazing daughter, @thesydneymorgan! I'm equally grateful to my cousin, @ciemoneshep , serving as Board Chair.

Growing up, my grandmother taught me that pretty is as "pretty does," and it's this profound wisdom that we're passing on to the next generation. Our goal is to help them understand that true beauty comes from within, and that their actions and character truly define them.
