✨This really happened. ‚Dear Child‘ won the International Emmy Award for best Mini-series ✨
A week already since that night and it still feels surreal... I’ve always wanted to go to New York, it has been a dream come true to finally be there, see Broadway plays, visit the MoMA, marvel at the skyscrapers, walk the High Line and over Brooklyn Bridge - and oh yeah, go the International Emmy Awards - what??! So exciting to be there among filmmakers from all over the world and get inspired by their fantastic and diverse work. On top of all, the excitement of so unexpectedly winning this beautiful award and the joy of celebrating it together is something I’ll never forget. What a week, felt all the feels from overwhelming anxiety to pure bliss and everything in between. I’m grateful. For the role and work that brought me all the way to New York and for the time spent together, thank you @netflixde @isabelkleefeld @julianpoerksen @katja_hofem @lisakreimeyer @tom._spiess @fidilightning @constantinfilm @romyhausmann & @theycallmemissjones 🖤🖤🖤 Thank you @dior @vcom.pr and @tina_eckhoff for dressing and styling me to shine bright like a 💎 Thank you to one of my best mates who came to NY to hang out with me cause we said we would one day - danke fürs Hand halten, dieses nervöse Hemd over here dankt es dir, mein Alex 🖤
