Jeremiah 29:11
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

On May 2nd, 2025, I will be graduating from North Carolina State University with the highest honors, Summa Cum Laude, earning a degree in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Human Biology.

This journey was anything but easy. I walked this path carrying grief after losing my big brother, the one who inspired much of this journey. But even in the hardest moments, God’s promise never failed. He gave me strength when I had none left and continued to guide me along the path He had already prepared for me.

To the university that shaped me, thank you. NC State has been more than a campus; it’s been the foundation of my becoming. I’m grateful for the classrooms that challenged me, the organizations that developed me, and the sisterhood of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, which surrounded me with purpose, service, and strength. Everything here has been preparation for what’s ahead.

Though this part of my journey is coming to a close, I know I’m not done yet. I plan to attend medical school and continue walking in the purpose God has given me. To serve, to heal, and to honor Him in all that I do. by @kimseycooper

So grateful beyond words as I embark on this journey with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. I thank God for this blessing, my amazing prophytes for their leadership and guidance, and my 26 lifelong best friends. Can’t wait to see what the future holds.

Shoutout to my mom for paving the way and being a true example of an Alpha woman. You are a beacon of grace, intellect, and strength. Thank you Mom, for your unwavering commitment to excellence, your wisdom that lights my path, and the enduring sisterhood you’ve instilled in me. Your legacy propels me forward.
