๐Ÿก September market stats are in! Swipe to see whatโ€™s happening in your local real estate market. ๐Ÿ‘‰ Metro Vancouverโ€™s market is telling two different stories. Overall sales were down about 8% compared with last September, driven by weaker condo sales. Detached homes and townhomes, meanwhile, saw a slight increase in sales. Buyers purchasing a home to live in appear to be driving activity, while investors wait for more favourable conditions. ๐Ÿ“‰ Prices continue to soften gradually. With sales slow and inventory trending lower, the overall benchmark price declined 0.5% from August. Those small monthly changes have added up, with prices across all property types now down approximately 3% since the start of the year. ๐Ÿ’ญ What does this mean for your next move? Buyers have more room to negotiate, while sellers need thoughtful pricing and strong marketing to stand out. The right approach depends on your neighbourhood, property type and goals. Thinking about buying or selling? Letโ€™s talk about what these numbers mean for you.
