From training room to *Best Feature Film 🏆

As Executive Producers, Kinabuti is incredibly proud to celebrate @you_may_kiss_the_bride_goodbye — which took home 4 awards and 14 nominations at the Uganda Film Festival, including Best Feature Film.

This thriller was brought to life by 7 young Ugandan talents who emerged from @opportunitiesarehere, a programme by the @internationaltradecentre funded by the @euinuganda .

Through training and a creative production camp, these filmmakers turned skills into jobs, and an idea into an award-winning feature.

14 nominations. 4 awards. 7 young talents. 1 mission.
Best Feature Film is more than a trophy. It’s proof that investing in youth in the creative sector creates jobs, builds industries, and tells stories the world wants to see.

🎄❤️ Thank you for making Christmas magical! ❤️🎄
Thanks to your incredible support, the _14th Kinabuti & Friends Christmas Initiative_ reached 1,600 children over 3 beautiful days of celebration, joy, and sharing.
✨ 13 Dec – Vigilant Heart Orphanage (100 kids): dancing, arts & crafts, storytelling, career talks for teens, and a fun pizza-making masterclass (and lots of pizza 🍕!).
✨ 17 Dec – Orile-Iganmu (1,100 kids): games, dancing, laughter, and gifts at a new school—many children experiencing their first big Christmas celebration 🎁.
✨ 18 Dec – Tarkwa Bay (400 kids): two schools, two amazing parties filled with songs, dances & cultural performances 🌊🎶.
We distributed 1,500 identical gift bags with food, toys, water bottles, lunch boxes, notebooks & pens, and gifts for top-performing students. Additional packages were also delivered to Vigilant Heart and Mother Theresa Orphanages.

🙏 None of this would have been possible without your generosity and our amazing volunteers. *Thank you for spreading joy, love, and hope this Christmas.*

🎄 *THANK YOU*🎁✨

We’re over the moon to share that, with your help, we raised 25M+ Naira + in-kind donations for our _13th Annual Christmas Charity Initiative_ 🎅🏿💖🎁

Over 3 magical days:
🌟 Day 1: Over 1,000 kids in Orile-Iganmu & Coker received gift bags and enjoyed dance competitions, games, and lots of fun on their school grounds. 🎉🥳
🌟 Day 2: At Tarkwa Bay, teachers wowed us with cultural shows and recitals, and we handed out 350 bags to excited kids. 🏖️🎶
🌟 Day 3: We treated the kids from Vigilant Heart Orphanage to a morning of fun at Enzo Reality arcade in Lekki—they had a blast! 🎮💫

Each of the 1,500 gift bags included rice, garri, drinks, pasta, custard, oil, tomato paste, sweets, biscuits, toys, and so much more! 🛍️🍚💝

The last batch of bags will go to the amazing kids at Mother Theresa’s Orphanage in Ketu this week.

Our volunteers were incredible—full of love, energy, and excitement 🌟💪

🌟 **LET’S SPREAD JOY THIS CHRISTMAS** 🌟

Hello Friend,

As the holiday season approaches, we’re reminded of the power we have together to make a difference. Over the past 12 years, with incredible support from people like you, we’ve delivered over 15,000 food packages, bringing warmth and hope to families in need.

This Christmas, we’re aiming to provide 1,500 food bags to children in Orile Iganmu, Coker, Vigilant Heart Charitable Orphanage, and Tarkwa Bay. Each bag will contain essentials: rice, garri, beans, vegetable oil, powdered milk, tomato paste, sweets, and more.

To reach our goal, we’re accepting **in-kind donations of non-perishable food items, toiletries, and detergents** to ensure every bag is filled equally. Monetary donations of any amount are also welcome and deeply appreciated!

We extend our gratitude for your support in our Christmas initiative. With your contributions, we successfully distributed 950 bags, and witnessing the joy on the faces of numerous children was truly heartwarming. Your generous donations made this wonderful experience possible once more. Presently, we are preparing to distribute 200 Christmas Gifts to the children in Tarkwa Bay.
