[#XMENOC x Lucid dream!!]

Scenario that I lucidly dreamed about a while back but instead of the actual X-Men, Ruth Raegan (me) was in The Gifted universe🤭✨

(The more intense vibrations Ruth creates the more they'll glow as a sign of air impairment causing high voltage to form in the radius of the vibrations. Basically, Ruth can slightly manipulate electricity if the frequencies are high enough)

[#XmenOC] FAKE SCREENSHOT!
🧬
Before evading from the Alcatraz island, Ruth was being held captive by William Stryker in an attempt of his to understand and alter the way Ruth mutation works. He believed that she was an anomaly mutant, placing her under a class 5 by his statistics. While in his eyes, Ruth had potential, she was nothing more than a class 4 mutant. But a unique class 4. Ruth being capable of distorting frequencies at her will could eventually reach a level of telekinesis. Or so he thought.
🧬
PROJECT "X DECONSTRUCTION" consists in the dissection, piece by piece, of Ruth's body to locate the source of her mutation. "Don't worry, you'll be back to normal in no time. That's what I like about you." says Stryker everytime he dissects her whole arm for example. The problem is, Stryker could never find a source. He firstly believed her mutation came from her DNA, like Mistique's, but no. Then, he believed that it came from her brain since the neuronal network produces sufficient amount of wavelength to be transferred down into her body and furthermore increased. Actually, the brain was his most plausible answer, since the constant regeneration of the cells in her body too.

But no.

The source was marked unidentifiable until Stryker could come up with an experiment for her.
🧬
The Proximal Experiment. Stryker placed Ruth in a room with approaching walls. The entire room would come closer to her and shrink until she was nothing but a compressed box of flesh. Ruth's hands were tied tight behind her back and her legs were tied to the floor so that she couldn't raise them or move anywhere from the centre of the empty room. Although what was curious for Stryker was why Ruth never opposed all of the experiments when no restrictions were made over her mutation. She could yell right in his face and blow it off his head, but no. Something wasn't right...

#XmenOC

Showcase of how Ruth would be portrayed while disturbing the frequencies in someone's mind (+ how it'd sound like, not 100% accurate).

Ruth Raegan is a Mutant who can control sound frequencies of almost anything that produces sound. In this specific cutscene, Ruth is using her mutation to amplify and decrease the frequencies in the network of neurons in the brain. The human brain emits soundwaves raging from 0.1Hz to more than 100Hz, reaching even 10.000Hz. However, the lower the waves the more the human mind gets disturbed, losing motor functions, high-order cognitive functions, logical reasoning and data processing. Ruth can mess with it by significantly decreasing it and then amplify it back. If this method is done on a target for even a short period of time, their brain will short-circuit and damage will be done permanently.

#XmenOC

GUYS the ones on the screen are the only infos available that I have for her in the moment. Her name is Ruth Raegan. She's more of the rebel type but also sticks to her group if needed. I might ship her with Pyro or Angel now idk🤭
