In my 100 week DJ journey, I can honestly say that every show I’ve done has been extremely special to me and I’ve loved every single event I’ve been a part of. Every single one. —Wow. —
I really feel so blessed for having spaces that celebrated me wanting to do what I wanted to do. No one could ever change my mind about that or make me feel otherwise. I truly love all the experiences I have had and the way I’ve been able to be a part of so many ground breaking events including art shows and local celebrations. I could not be more happy with how the trajectory of my gigs have gone and I’m eternally grateful for every single person that has hired me and has come to see any of my shows. I put as much as my self into them as I can and only hope that translates to give a magical experience that honors every event for how special they truly are.
🏆
100 weeks of djing has transformed my life for the better and has really created wisdom from the ebs and flows of creation with destruction.
🔥 🧘‍♀️🏵️
I’m really proud of my journey , the good and the bad. Shit happens for a reason and I don’t knock myself down for not knowing any better in moments where I was naive and gullible. I just continue to do better the next time around and not hold on to anything that could affect my passion for life. It’s been hard though cause I love to feel and I love to sit in emotions and overthink and dissect but a soul can only take so much until it has to grow beyond the pain in order to continue thriving.
People will come to help you in the most unexpected ways that renews your hope for life. 💗🙏🏽💗
So thank you for joining me, thank you for honoring my true self, and thank you so so much for not judging me. Dallas is truly the best city and I love it here so so much.
Shout out OAK CLIFF ALWAYS - my forever home. 😘😘😘😘💋

-who-! is approaching her 100th week of being a DJ

& what a fucking ride.

I want to be open and honest about my journey at this moment and what I’ve learned in 100 weeks of djing but for now here’s this beautiful pic of me enjoying myself in some nature…. I’m just a girl - ✨ by @kinda_strange
