“The proximity to the Atlantic Ocean and the fact that a major portion of our farm is prime agricultural soils, and that at 17 feet- that’s one of the high points of the really good fields-that’s going to be underwater by my grandkids’ days... unless we deal with global warming, some of the best farmland in this area is going to be inundated and useless. And it’s happening already.” — Andy Burnes, Jordan Farm

Jordan Farm is located on the South Coast of Massachusetts, overlooking Buzzards Bay. The farm raises 100% grass fed Hereford cattle and is Certified Animal Welfare Approved and Certified Grass Fed cattle by A Greener World (AGW). Jordan Farm was founded with regenerative principals such as pastured livestock, rotational grazing, no till, low chemical inputs. Listen to this sobering conversation about the pressing need to address climate change, as rising sea levels and storm ferocity will transform some of the richest agricultural land in Massachusetts into salt marsh.
