We did it — THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU!

As a collective, we raised 116,500,000 IDR, equal to $10,605 AUD.

This incredible generosity has allowed us to build three homes in total:
• 2 × 2-bedroom homes with new beds, blankets, and pillows
• 1 × 1-bedroom home with new beds, blankets, and pillows
(We announced to the family today that we can build them a new home - and when I tell you they both cried on my shoulder, it reminded me just how deeply shelter provides peace of mind.)

Together, we’ve changed the lives of three beautiful young families, giving them safe, secure spaces to raise their children - and homes they can pass on to the next generation. This is true stability -the kind that brings safety and peace, without fear of the future.

Alongside the home builds, part of the donations also went toward immediate flood relief in Bali helping rescue animal shelters, orphanages that were completely destroyed, and @scholarsofsustenanceid , a food rescue foundation that worked tirelessly to feed those affected.

I am beyond grateful to everyone who donated and supported me throughout this journey as well as your encouraging kind words.

I’m deeply honoured to work alongside @anggiewayan from @rice_forbali and your wonderful team - you are a true saint on earth.

All of these donations were made possible because of YOU! Try and remember your water bottle from home, try not ask for a straw with your drink if it’s going to be a plastic one, try to avoid using plastic at ceremonies/ events. Just keep trying to do all of these little small things that make a huge difference in the long run. This was the smallest little patch of rubbish on a long beach that had mountains of waste and waves of rubbish crashing into it all day. The strength of the community when it binds together to be able to help and clean beaches/rivers alongside @sungaiwatch is unmatched- Bali is an incredibly beautiful place with the most humble humans on earth being born on to this island, let’s do what we can to preserve its nature and heritage.
