POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Wednesday brings a last quarter Moon in Taurus (13°40), the slow work of loosening your grip on something you’ve outgrown. Venus shifts into Libra that same day, back in the sign it rules, asking that balance be earned rather than performed. The Sun and Saturn trine across this stretch, quietly rewarding structure you’ve already built over promises you’ve only made.

Saturday brings the Lion’s Gate Portal, landing on top of an already expansive Leo season with the Sun and Jupiter still together in the sign. Treat it as an amplifier, not a reset.

Aquarius Full Moon 🌕✨ by @kindredhonesty

The Full Moon in Aquarius peaked yesterday at 6°30’, opposite the Sun at 6°30’ Leo, Moon conjunct Pluto. That kind of conjunction does not clear in a day. Whatever surfaced to be released is still surfacing, still asking to be looked at directly.

The Sun sitting cazimi with Jupiter in Leo is still active too, within half a degree. The same energy that pulled the buried thing into view is still holding the permission to stop hiding it.

Keep this one close. The lunar nodes shifted onto this same Leo-Aquarius axis just days ago, on July 26th. This Full Moon isn’t a standalone release, it’s the first major activation of a story your chart will be telling for the next eighteen months. by @kindredhonesty

The Full Moon peaks today at 6°30' Aquarius, exact at 10:36am ET, opposite the Sun at 6°30' Leo. This is a fixed sign opposition, which means nothing about this release will feel gentle or negotiable. Fixed energy holds on until it cannot hold on anymore, then it breaks all at once.

The Moon is conjunct Pluto in Aquarius, which is what gives this lunation its weight. Whatever you have kept buried, whatever truth you learned to swallow so a group would keep you close, is surfacing now whether you planned for it or not.

At the same time, the Sun sits cazimi with Jupiter in Leo, fused within half a degree. This is the counterweight. The same moon asking you to release what no longer belongs to you is also handing you permission to take up the space you have been shrinking out of.

You do not have to choose between the excavation and the illumination. They are the same moment, asking two things of you at once.

What surfaces tonight is not an isolated release. It is the opening note of a much longer story your chart is about to start telling.

The Lion’s Gate doesn’t open on 8/8, it’s already opening. The window runs from late July through mid-August, which means the real work isn’t only the ritual you do on the day. It’s what you clear, name, and settle into now.

Save this for the next two weeks. 🦁✨

#LionsGatePortal #888

Get honest about what you’re actually done with. Before you can receive anything new, name what version of you needs to stay behind. A habit, a relationship dynamic, a story you keep repeating.

Start clearing space now, not on 8/8. Physical clutter, unread texts, unfinished projects. The portal amplifies energy, so give it room to move by lightening your load beforehand.

Track what keeps resurfacing in your thoughts this week. Whatever theme won’t stop showing up, a goal, a fear, a person, is likely what this portal wants you to address.

Reconnect with your confidence before the peak hits. Leo season is about courage. Do something now that reminds you who you are outside of anyone else’s opinion of you.

Set the intention early, then let it simmer. Write down what you want to call in before 8/8 arrives, so by the time the gateway peaks, you’re not scrambling. You’re just stepping through. by @kindredhonesty

Every one of us carries two points in our chart that don’t belong to any planet.

The South Node is the pattern you need to release. The habit you lean on, the identity you built for safety, the place you keep returning to because it’s familiar even when it’s not feeding you anymore.

The North Node is the opposite. It’s unfamiliar on purpose. It’s the direction your soul is reaching toward, even when it feels uncertain, even when it doesn’t come naturally yet.

On July 26th, both points move. The South Node settles into Leo. The North Node settles into Aquarius.

New Moon in Cancer by @kindredhonesty

Mercury is retrograde in Cancer and it’s asking a very specific question: what did you inherit that you never actually chose?

Not your trauma. Your filter. The lens you learned before you had any language to question it.

A mother’s fear of not enough. A grandmother’s silence around asking for help. A family where slowing down felt dangerous, or creative expression felt frivolous, or home never quite felt safe.

You didn’t choose that filter. You just kept running it. Calling it instinct. Calling it who you are.
This retrograde isn’t about fixing anything. It’s about noticing. Which thoughts are actually yours, and which ones are just old programming playing on repeat. You get to ask that now and you get to choose again.

New Moon in Cancer lands tomorrow. More on that soon 🌙 by @kindredhonesty

My heart is heavy with grief for the Salgado Araujo family.
My dad came here for the same reasons Sr. Salgado did. With nothing but hope and calloused hands, believing in the promise of hard work.

This could have been my father. It could have been yours.

His family deserves answers and a full private investigation.

The portal only opens once a year, and today is the day.

Whatever you’ve been sensing but couldn’t explain, trust it now. This is the frequency for it.

What did 7/7 hand you? by @kindredhonesty

Neptune stations retrograde tomorrow, and this one is different from the ones before it. Neptune only shifts signs once every fourteen years or so, and it is now in Aries until 2038. This is the first time in over a decade that the fog Neptune brings will filter through the lens of self and identity instead of the old collective dream it used to blur together.

What surfaces this week isn’t just a passing haze. It’s the opening note of a much longer chapter, one that will keep asking, for years to come, which parts of you are real and which were built to get by.

Save this and come back to it as the year unfolds. by @kindredhonesty
