Hey y'all! Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Karly and I am the owner of Kindred Spirits. ✨ I started Kindred Spirits about a year ago with the intention of connecting with people. My primary focus was getting out of my rut and finding an outlet that allowed me to channel my artistic passion into a self-made project. My mom has always been a crafty queen, so she took me under her wing and helped me create my brand. I started off with just some painted pots, which evolved into leather plant hangers & earrings, popped up with @wanderingwyld for my first event ever back in December, and the rest is ✨HER-STORY✨ I am now working on an original concept for a t-shirt design and collaborating with @femmefloradesign for "Plant Drip" stickers! Yeeee! Humble brag!! 🥲 I think as creators, we forget to hype ourselves up and acknowledge our growth. We always focus on what we should be doing rather than what we've accomplished. I'm here to remind you to NEVER give up on your passion. Always make yourself your top priority. Surround yourself with love and light. Be gentle with yourself. These things take time. Just know that you are doing your best! Keep shining. Keep smiling. 🌼 #smallownedbusiness #womenownedbusiness #girlbossing #femmeboss #manifestation #grateful #blessedandhighlyfavored by @kindredspiritsnv

wassssup 🦋✨ so I know I’ve been MIA. I’ve been exploring some new, yet exciting avenues and creating in a different way than what you might be used to following me for. I’ve settled into my little comfiness with posting publicly bc of my friends always being so encouraging n hyping me up 💋🫶✨ I wanted to share a lil mix I did on the decks. would you want to follow this journey if I keep posting and stuff? also- I’m just rolling with my username on multiple platforms and going with y2kewtie as my DJ name? whatta ya think: bop or flop? by @kindredspiritsnv

I’m feeling posty again!💌 Here are some recent moments featuring small businesses that I ADORE: 1. Hand Craft Coffee ☕️ @handcraftcoffeeco 2. Natty Select 🌿 @naturalselectionstore 3. The Garden 💐 @thegardenreno My usual at each: HCC: the “Cloud Nine” matcha or “Sugar & Spice” latte, Turkey Pesto panini is a must! 🫡The owners are so sweet and I’ve worked with them before while I was GM at my job. Travis is a chill guy and knows his stuff! NS: I like their unique selection of exotic plants and variety of tropicals! The owner, Emily, is the true definition of a plant queen. She is so knowledgeable and helpful with each purchase. ✨ TGR: I always love a mix of soft pinks & purples with pops of yellow! The owners are so nice and are always so appreciative when I come in. They always have the BEST selection and I love that they work within your budget needs. 💕 • • • #supportsmallbusiness #smallbusinessowner #supportlocal #supportlocalreno #supportlocalrenobusinesses #coffeeshop #plantlover #flowers #floralarrangement by @kindredspiritsnv

I am so tapped after these big events (especially when riding solo), but I always leave feeling so rewarded and with a whole lot of gratitude for this community. 🤍 Thankful for the connections I’ve made in the last 2.5 years!
