Some of the stages to get the opening sequence of (The) Joshua Ladgrove (Show) to work.
1. a) Creating a clean background plate sans Harrison Craig
b) compositing green screen studio footage of Josh
c) adding in blood effects / motion tracking
2. Raw studio footage
3. Removing Harrison Craig's vocals
4. Adding some fake tongue via the excellent prop to be used on stage

Wheel of Fortune or "Dial of Prosperity" as we called it, also created entirely within @qlabapp.
This is implemented in such a way that the target quote can be changed at short notice before the segment. In fact, you can see QLab building the board as the contestants are brought up for the audience. The board phrase is derived from the script cue's note field. The script first makes sure that none of the 3 possible lines exceeds 14 characters, and then lays them out to be centre aligned within the board squares.
Each letter is an individual text cue, that the script can then loop through to see if it matches the contestant's guesses. More hectic was adding in the cubes lighting up behind them, which is done by changing the corresponding image layer's file target from /lightboxOFF.png to /lightboxON.PNG

The Price Is Alright - Showcase was also created entirely within @qlabapp, with the notes field of each board item text cues containing the correct number position it should be on the board, thus giving the script an understanding of whether the player has ordered it correctly.
Other things of note:
- the initial "assign text" script cue overwrites all of the item and price text cues to reset the board to the original layout we had pre-scrambled.
- the price reveals automatically play the right or wrong sequence depending on the aforementioned number in the cue's note field aligning with the cue position.
- if wrong, it plays the buzzer sound on reveal, before showing all the remaining prices in sequence.
- before the prices are revealed, a simple column of 8 coloured dots is revealed, that the presenter can use as a chest sheet to guide them through which items are correctly placed on the board (and thus won't trigger the end game sequence)
- we actually discovered a weakness with this simple logic, which is that in this scenario the second last price revealed shouldn't really trigger the incorrect sequence, because although it was in the wrong position, it hadn't yet broken the low to high pricing order on the board - it was only when the very last price is revealed that its position being wrong was apparent.
EDIT: You'll find a newer version of this on our page, where this was rewritten to include proper maths calculations instead of just right or wronging by correct position.
