Me: Right, let's get through this list.
My laptop: absolutely not. 😂

We've all been there.
What’s the most annoying thing your laptop has done at the worst possible time? 😂

You start the day thinking you've got plenty of time.

Then a few emails turn into a few calls, one thing takes longer than expected, you get distracted by something completely unrelated…
And suddenly it’s 4:36pm and you're wondering where the day went.

Surely I’m not the only one? 😂
When do you normally realise your day has got away from you?

Some days you get loads done.
Some days you have a quick chat, make a coffee, have a laugh, then get back to it.
And honestly, it’s nice having people around while you work!

Not every conversation has to be about business. Sometimes it’s just nice to say morning to someone. ☕️

What do you prefer, working around people or having the place completely to yourself?

Tomorrow me can deal with it. 😂
Anyone else use this strategy a little too often?

At first, working from home felt like the dream.
No commute.
No one talking to you.
Your own coffee.
Your own schedule.
And then, somewhere along the way, you start doing the weirdest thing...
You miss saying “morning” to someone.
You miss having people around while you work.
You miss having somewhere to go when you actually want to switch off from home.
Turns out, we didn't miss the office.
We just missed having a bit of life around our workday.
Anyone else found this? 👀

You know those little conversations you have during the workday that aren't really about work?

A quick chat over coffee.
Asking how someone's week is going.
A random “how's it going?” between getting things done.

Nothing major. But somehow the day feels a bit better for it.
Sometimes it's nice just having other people around.

Do you prefer working around people, or are you happiest left completely alone? 👀

Friday afternoon inboxes have their own agenda. 😭

You think you've made it.

Then Outlook/Gmail/whatever you've been using decides otherwise.

Anyone else suddenly get a dozen emails at 4:58pm? 😂

Professional doesn't have to mean corporate.

You can have a professional place to meet clients, work with your team and run your business without sitting in a huge corporate office.

Sometimes a space can feel professional and still feel like a place you'd actually want to spend time in.

That's what we like about King Work.

Boutique, approachable and right in the Adelaide CBD.

Adelaide CBD can be busy.

But step inside King Work and it feels a little different.

Somewhere to focus.
Somewhere to have a proper conversation.
Somewhere to get a few hours of work done without all the noise around you.

Right in the middle of the city, but a little removed from it.

After months of:

“Can you hear me?”
“Sorry, you're muted.”
“Wait, my internet is playing up.”

...finally the team meeting in person. 😂

And then spending the first 10 minutes going:

“Ohhh, so that's what you look like.”

Anyone else experienced this? 😂

Some days you're heads down and getting through a big piece of work.
Some days you're in meetings all day.
And some days you just need a bit of space to think.

Your workspace doesn't have to be one-size-fits-all.
At King Work, there's room to work, meet and get on with the day in Adelaide CBD.

Cafés are great!

Until you need to have a client meeting and suddenly you're trying to find the least noisy corner.

Or you need to take a private call while the table next to you is having a full-volume conversation.

Or you actually need to concentrate. 😅

Sometimes you just need a proper place to get the work done.

That's where King Work comes in!
