Most people know me as a Mortgage Broker. Few know where my journey actually began.As a teenager, I enrolled in modeling school. After moving to South Florida, I was signed by Ford Miami @fordmodelsmiami , with my first booking being a Walmart holiday circular. From there, I had the opportunity to work with incredible brands and creatives.Modeling gave me confidence, discipline, and a deep appreciation for creativity but I always knew I wanted to build something with a different kind of impact.While modeling, I earned my degree in Business Management from Florida International University, graduating cum laude. After college, I worked as an Assistant Store Manager with Sherwin-Williams. It was a great opportunity, but I knew I was meant to build something of my own.That led me to launch @tailoredmortgagefirm Looking back, I realize I never left the creative world. I still tell stories through branding and marketing the difference is that now, every story has purpose.Today, I have the privilege of helping families achieve homeownership and build generational wealth something I never take for granted.Somewhere along the way, I also became a wife and a mom, which redefined what success means to me.Now, success is about impact, opportunity, and the freedom to build a life that reflects what matters most.I’m still evolving, still dreaming, and still creating.Every chapter brought me here, and I wouldn’t change a single one. #Model #MortgageBroker by @king.fofa

If I knew I’d go over that, I opened a new line of credit instead of maxing out one card.Credit utilization makes up 30% of your score.Paying off my student loans boosted my score by 20+ points. That pushed me to 805!My loans were my oldest line of credit, so I didn’t want to lose that age historI’ve never had a late payment. Even when I couldn’t pay in full, I always paid at least the minimum balance on time.Payment history is 35% of your score; one late payment can drop it 60–100 points.I don’t let things go to collections. If something does slip through, I call immediately, settle it, and get it in writing that it’ll be removed from my report.Pro tip: “Pay-for-delete” agreements work if you negotiate properly before paying.I asked my husband to add me as an authorized user on his oldest card with perfect payment history and low utilization.Age boost + good history = major credit score growth.Gems Nobody Talks About:⚫️Keep at least 3 open revolving accounts.Closing cards can hurt because it lowers your total available credit and average age.⚫️Don’t apply for multiple cards at once.Each hard inquiry can drop your score 5–10 points temporarily.⚫️Set your card to autopay the minimum every month.That one move protects your payment history, even if you forget.⚫️Use “credit card cycling.”Make multiple small payments before your statement date to lower your reported utilization before it hits the bureaus.⚫️Keep old cards open, even if you don by @king.fofa
