36 years of life… and I feel it in my heart more than anything.

This year feels different. Not because everything is perfect, but because I finally understand myself in a deeper, more honest way.

I’ve faced things I once avoided. I’ve let go of versions of me that were built just to survive. And somewhere along the way, I stopped waiting for life to change and started choosing change for myself.

36 is a turning point. A commitment to grow, to heal, and to live fully…even when it’s uncomfortable.

This is the year I become who I’ve been becoming all along.

Happy birthday to me‼️🎁 🎉 🎂 #Blessed🙏🏽 taken in Minneapolis, Minnesota by @king__of__art

My first attempt to painting a circle canvas and I feel like I did an amazing job‼️This painting, “Tunnel of Time,” reflects a journey through hardship into hope. The darker, heavier forms on the left symbolize past struggles and emotional weight, while the brighter, flowing colors on the right suggest healing, growth, and a clearer path forward. The central circular form acts like a portal; marking transition, resilience, and the passage from difficulty into renewal. #rididesigns🎨 #abstractart #acrylic #TunnelOfTime😊 taken in Minneapolis, Minnesota by @king__of__art

I finished a new silhouette piece a couple days ago! It’s called “Venom and Petals.” It’s a contrast between danger and softness; Medusa is both feared and misunderstood. The flower suggests beauty, vulnerability, and humanity, while the dark silhouette represents the pain and power she carries. The snake symbolizes resilience and protection. It’s about being both gentle and untouchable at once. #rididesigns🎨 #acrylic #silhouette taken in Minneapolis, Minnesota by @king__of__art
