What started as a personal creative journey continues to open doors I never imagined. Grateful to be selected to have two artworks featured in the Midtown Atlanta Outdoor Gallery @midtown_atl and even more thankful to share this opportunity alongside so many amazing artists. A beautiful reminder to keep creating, keep believing, and keep showing up. 💫

“Blue as the Sun” (between 5th & 6th) and “Eyes Closed, Soul Heard” (corner of 11th) are both located on Peachtree Street.

Both pieces pay tribute to two incredible Black artists. One an Atlanta native and my absolute favorite, @andre3000, and the other a singer who broke barriers as an artist in the 1930s @marianandersonhistoricsociety.

Making my voice heard visually.

Balancing life in healthcare and art isn’t always easy—but for me, it’s necessary. Creating and sharing my art brings me joy, peace, and purpose. Art is an expression of my journey—every stroke, color, and piece reflects where I’ve been and where I’m going.
It’s a reminder that it’s okay to take your time, to be patient with yourself, and to stay grounded in gratitude. I’m learning to embrace the process, both in healing and creating.

A heartfelt thank you to @tareshmonchel for capturing my gift so beautifully and seeing something in me worth sharing with the world.

This picture had an affect on me since I first laid eyes on it. The colors, the patterns, the posture and body language. I just had to. @erykahbadu @usher

One of my favorite galleries in DC.

It felt great to experience this space through a more mature, creative lens. The contemporary art section has always been one of my favorites, but being able to connect with the pieces in a more personal way and appreciate them through my own artistic views made the experience even more special. 🌻 taken in Smithsonian American Art Museum and the Renwick Gallery by @king_evyy

Remember when I said I was creating something? 👀🎨

SURPRISE! I created the coloring pages for Color Me Caffeinated! ☕✏️🤎

I’m excited to bring my art into this experience and see how everyone adds their own creative touch to the pages. No two interpretations will be the same, and that’s the beauty of art. 🫶🏾🌻

Come sip, socialize, color, and create with us!

I’m honestly at a loss for words when it comes to how grateful I am for last night’s experience. 🥹🫶🏾

From the feedback and meaningful conversations to seeing my work through different perspectives, this is exactly why I do what I do.

This collection has been FOUR years in the making. Four years of trusting myself, believing in my vision, and learning to give myself grace throughout the process. To finally share this work and experience it through the eyes of others is something I don’t take lightly.

Beyond grateful to @hapevillemainstreet for this amazing, and I do mean AMAZING, opportunity to share my work and be part of such a special experience. 🌻

And big thank you to @latjohnspilates for sharing your beautiful space. Can’t wait to check out your classes!! ❤️❤️❤️

All I can say is thank You, God, for the growth, the timing, the doors opened, and the reminder to keep going. ❤️🙏🏾 by @king_evyy
