the words I write here can never express how happy I am to share this with you guys..I spent the Last 6 months shaping this thing you see here; written, recorded and mixed by me... legit blood sweat and tears went into this thing but what ill say is, I truly think this is some of my best work yet..most artistic well shaped, cohesive piece of work yet.. I could sit here and try and explain to you what this project means to me but like any great piece of art, it's to be experienced, digested and left for the audience to discuss. all I ask is that you give this project an opportunity. get comfortable, hit the lights, hit play and jump in. I can grantee you have never expirenced anything like this before 😁

(Part 1) Major love to @King_sqauli for bringing WEIRD to life with us.
You didn’t just make a music video — you built a whole moment. The energy, the vision, the way you showed up… that’s the type of collaboration that pushes the culture forward.

And big shout to @sam_pena_94 for letting us take over the establishment and turn it into a full-on creative zone. Couldn’t have captured this without your space and your support.

Rize Digatized x WEIRD — Chicago creativity in motion.

More on the way.

Huge shout to Tacos Don Misael in Lincoln Square, Chicago for letting us film inside their spot. If you haven’t been, pull up, they’re serving fire tacos all week.

Another big ty to @messymediacollective
@pjmargarito @gtim4
yall didn't have to show up to a lil video shoot ina taco shop but you did and helped take this video to another level. im greatful for friends that continue to support and help push this thing forward, continue to grow and stand alongside me while I climb this thing to the top.. legit love yall! ty

the song Wierd is about being stuck... having big dreams while being stuck in the 9-5 reality..trying to express to people how bad I need and want my dream to be my reality while walking through the smudge of the day to day bs. The signature HI HELLO, MY NAMES MARC is inspired a bit by Daniel Johnston but the idea is that im pretty much on auto pilot, that go to fake smile we all put on when we are at work talking to customers or clients, the tiring,uninspiring monotonous repetition of a task that does nothing for our spirits or our minds and keep us flaccid and fatigued.
if u can relate leave me a comment and let me know what u think of the project and the video! I'd love to hear ur thoughts and opinions 😜
