💥 Part 1 of the All-In-One Mixing Station build 💥 I've been missing the King St practice space and tuns out other people in apartments don't like amps or drums so we had to make it silent(ish). This station can handle any kind of practice setup or live show sound, and can give up to 8 people their own 'personal mixes' for their IEMs/speaker wedges. It is also modular and can handle any kind of line, AUX or mic input. For this setup, it is an electric drum kit and all amps are digital/modelers. We have one main speaker in the room that plays at a normal level you would play music while hanging out, and people can plug in their headphones or IEMs as needed for their own mix. The 'ish' in 'silent(ish)' is because you can still hear the singer next to you when we have one and the kick drum still makes a subtle thud.

I’ve been in the process of re-doing my entire rig to get ready for some different kinds of shows coming up this summer. I’m about 90% done with the new board (coming soon) and just finished up the cab! I wanted a vertical 2x12, and wanted to it be much smaller and lighter than my all-original Bassman ‘64 cab, so I went about as small as I could without sacrificing sound. It’s loaded up with 2 Celestion G12-P ‘Hot 100’ speakers @ 100w and 16Ω each. Since the speakers are wired parallel, there will be a total 8Ω load on whichever amp head it’s connected to. Amp head and board updates coming soon!!!

🚨🎛️🚨 NOW IN PRODUCTION: The King Street Effects Hyperdrive 🚨🎛️🚨 My personal setup is a modified klon centaur on the right and a heavily modified tube screamer on the left, but it can be made with any drive you like. The PCB’s are BYOC design and the handwriting was outsourced to more talented people this time 😂 The switch in the middle changes the signal chain order internally, because you know it’ll sound different the other way 😉 Wrapped it all up in a tolex-like finish 😋 The tube screamer mod ended up coming out so good I might do it as a stand-alone of it as well 🔨 ⚡️ _______________________________________________
