A big congratulations today to @devintoshea on the publication of his book, The Veiled Prophet. It has been the coolest thing to watch Devin work on this project for years and years. His discipline, hard work, and determination to see this project through and do it right has led to the incredible end result that is this book. I am endlessly proud of him, and I'm super grateful to call him my brother and friend. If anyone is out in NYC, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, or Baltimore, I'll see you out at Devin's talks and events over the next week! by @kingabababa

We’re truly honored to join @foxing for their final show on December 6th at @thepageantstl along with @deathbois

They’ve been a pillar of St. Louis music for as long as we’ve been a band, and their artistry and music have continuously driven us to reach for new heights and challenged us to become the best version of ourselves. There isn’t and will never be another band like Foxing, and it’s a bittersweet joy to celebrate this moment with them. We look forward to seeing you all there, and we’ll have a couple tunes to play for you as well.

I get to tour with my absolute dogs and there's nothing I'd rather do
.
A whole month with @foxyshazam @thenumber12lookslikeyou and @hotfixsideshow was as great a month as I could possibly ask for. I made so many new friends as well as got to see so many friends from far away places. I'm very lucky and grateful, and I love everyone who was a part of the experience and made it so special. Best taco bell block party of my life.

It is hard to find the proper words but I am so excited today because @lobbyboxer has finally released our album Head Shoulders Knuckles Floor. We have been working towards this album since before the pandemic. I am so grateful to be a part of this band and work really hard with my three incredible friends. These songs range over a wide period of time and I feel so proud to be able to point to this record as the calling card of who we are. I have to say how proud I am of @zach.massacre for getting the mix together for the album so it would be just right, on top of his incredible writing, powerful vocals, and amazing guitar work (and DD-5 technique) that I have had the pleasure of getting to see constantly grow all of these years as a band. The precision and command he has over his guitar and voice is insanity. It is of course to my constant amazement that I get to hold down the rhythm section with @maxsandza , his drumming and his constant drive to push us forward and up the ante with every drum part he creates has me in a constant awe. It is always the coolest thing to lock in together and see how far we can take our absurdity. And finally, I have so much gratitude and amazement for @cousinfrankiv who joined the band years and years ago, and not only complimented what we already had, but gave us such a powerful new voice with his beautiful and fluid guitar playing, and his incredible vocals, lyrics and songwriting. This album would not exist in any way without him and his guitar hooks are constantly stuck in my head. I love these guys and am so grateful they always are open minded to goofy and strange new ideas and support me through everything we’ve been through. Being in the van on tour or on stage with them is such an honor, and there is no group of people who are objectively funnier than we are when we are slopping it up with our demented band banter. Lastly, I’ll add how surreal it is for me that we finished the main tracking for the last song, Linnehan just a few weeks before my mom passed. That song captures both the beautiful collaboration between Zach and Jack on the songwriting, and also a snapshot of the world where my mom was still here with us. by @kingabababa

JERRY CASSETTE TAPES ARE HERE, SOUND ON FOR PREVIEWS

As many of you know, I manage the starving cartoon artist named Jerry. @goatvision_labs and I have worked meticulously together to create the first ever Jerry physical reissues of his most famous albums. Each of the four tapes add up to create a beautiful limited-edition set that perfectly encapsulates Jerry's genius and prolific career. I'm putting the link in my bio as to where you can purchase them. If you're still confused, I took an epic road trip to explain the lore of Jerry and I'll be posting more in the coming weeks to explain the backstory of each tape. Dad-posting for the first time in a while.
.
Last year while clearing out my mom's house I was sorting through the old VHS tapes when I stumbled across this one. I was amazed at the incredibly catchy public access TV song accompanied with the many shots of scenic Illinois. Then like a jump scare my dad appeared on camera. I had never seen this footage before but it was pretty funny / and absurd to see him interview the old stiff mayor of Collinsville. I am grateful for all of the memories and documentation I have. I am also really missing my mom on this day (of my dad's passing.) We normally would visit and reminisce about our old days. Really missing my mom right now. She passed away a little over two weeks ago. She was the kindest and sweetest mother I could have ever imagined. We shared such a special bond through the loss of my dad when I was young, and I am grateful to try and carry on the amazing love that both of my parents had together. I could easily be at her house for hours taking and asking her questions about her life, goofy things we had been up to, and I always tried my best to communicate the warmth I always felt and feel knowing how much she loved me. She had been through so much, and I loved how she would giggle when I told her how badass and brave she was. She touched so many lives and I am still learning the full impact of that. I couldn't be who I am without her. She was so supportive and loving to me in even my most difficult times and always encouraged and uplifted me, and always tried to give me the best opportunities in life, and I think she did a really good job of that. I'm super grateful for all of my amazing friends and family right now. by @kingabababa

Back from the best tour I've ever been a part of!
.
Two amazing weeks playing in @lobbyboxer while also sharing the bill with @origamibutton each night. I really do have to pinch myself each day with how lucky I am to get to play music in a group with most insanely talented and creative people ever in Zach, Max, and Jack, it's as an experience like no other and something I am unendingly grateful for! It is the funniest and coolest thing that we get to terrorize crowds both expecting and unexpecting all across parts of the US. On top of that it was the most incredible thing to hang with and watch the Origami Button friends do their thing every night. They are incredibly tight band with a million catchy songs and bits, and it was fantastic to get lost in their music each night whil they played, as well as an honor to get to know them better as the sick people they are! I don't know what the future holds but I will never forget the amazing times, memories, and shows of this tour and can't wait for what is next for us. I am incredibly proud of everyone in both groups for what we did and accomplished. Very happy to be back home w Patch tho 😁.
