Magic Happened when I turned the corner to run backstage on course of the Disneyland 1/2 marathon. I saw her….all alone and lit up, my grand Chariot Float that I rode from 2004-2009 every Christmas for 12 weeks with my dearest Snow White. I SCREAMED , cried, and forced @runninginmakeup to stop and take photos. It was so sentimental to see her One More Time!! Thank you @runsisney for making a Prince feel right at HOME. #achristmasfantasy #disneyland #rundisney taken in Disneyland/Califonia Adventure by @kingcharmingfred

#RunDOLLYWOOD @dollywood second Race weekend and their first FALL addition was a BOO-tiful success. The race team, led by Eugene Naughton, listened to everyone’s critiques and comments from the Inaugural weekend in April, and ended up with a (PUMPKIN)SMASH weekend!

The expo was much improved! It is now a two day event and is outside in the Race Hub where, now, all races start and finish. The Merch tent is also there, as well as a chance to buy the famous Cinnamon Bread!

The courses themselves are also much improved. You’ll still get your hills, but much less of them. Lots of gentle rolling hills met with some great downhills to gain speed.

Every item that was problematic at the Inaugural including gear check, bottlenecks, lack of bathrooms, and slowness of shuttles -were all fixed and improved to many of us runner’s delight.

Running at Dollywood has all the special feels that one would expect at Disney, but I found nicer staff members, more comfortable weather, cheaper prices overall, and great entertainment on course.

Great news! More races are coming! A Christmas themed weekend with a possible full Marathon called “The Dolly” ( move over Dopey) is coming in 2027!!

I am NOT being paid by Dollywood, but I truly want everyone to experience this great race weekend in the Smoky Mountains! #rundollywood #dollywood #run #runner taken in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee by @kingcharmingfred

When the dress is giving ✨main character✨ and the family is giving ✨restraining order✨

So happy everyone got in on idea to reprise Disney princess Bridgerton mashups so I could make a pink regency era dress, and that all my friends are good actors and down for a good time 😂
