A few years back, I wrote a manifesto that simply said, “Write the human experience.” It’s something I think we could all use more of these days, and it’s exactly what I set out to do with this album. Gloria is life—presence, trials, triumph, and most importantly, GLORY.This is the most independent and organic body of work I’ve ever created. I’ve never run IG ads or boosted posts for reach. Everything you’ve seen or heard has been powered by God, myself, and the incredible people who believe in me. No label. No machine. While I understand the importance of reaching new fans through streaming platforms and paid ads, I’m focused on who’s already here—here and now.Before it drops or streams anywhere else, I’m offering Gloria a whole month early, directly to you. We just wanted the most underground shit we could get our hands on. We hardly had money but somehow had all the albums. Graffiti was everything. Skateboarding was everything. We showed up 20 deep to your house party. We may or may not have gotten into a rumble in your backyard then went to bomb the streets right after. Lately, I’ve been returning to that spirit and I realized it was never lost. The homies who know me understand exactly what this foto means.
