Glory be to God!!! 2yrs ago I underwent a spinal fusion L5 S1.. you hear about all the negative stories on back surgeries... here's a positive 1!!! I dont have that old pain i had to 19years, yes 19.

I thought being in pain in my back after a workout or running was normal, but now its gone. Legs just be sore!! The recovery isnt/hasn't always been easy, but its been necessary. Im thankful that ive had an amazing support team from saving my life in the recovery room to making calls to help because im stuck on the couch and couldnt get up lol Most importantly to me, the young man I call mini me watching and keeping me motivated to keep moving forward.

Now im running and lifting.. The next day, im able to do it again in no pain!!! I do have bad days, but it seems like its only when its going to rain or it's cold out. This is truly a blessing!!!!

Before judgement takes place, idk how it happend or cared to investigate deeper to why.. I dont know.. things happen, mistakes happen.. lesson hopefully learned But...

Was hurrying trying to make it back to work, get to a stop sign and notice this baby standing in the rain.. im looking and he looking back, no adult to be found... i didnt wanna be late but aint no way ill just suffer my consequences.. so, I roll the windows down and ask where's mommy.. the kid points.. I get out and immediately he reaches for my hand. We walk around for a sec, and I see a door open. I knock and this girl comes to the door and tells me the baby's home is down some doors. I knock a few times and finally get the mom to the door and she seemed grateful.... I say all that to say, we all have a story in this life but also its ok to get out and look out for eachother without judgment!!!! I thank God that i was there instead of someone with ill intentions.. by @kingcole330

Update after the fast a week ago. The fast took weight off mentally and physically BUT Now im up 11 lbs heavier, happier and at peace🔥

Just finished my 1st real 3-day fast. 🙏🏾🙌🏾

No food. No social media. No gym.
Just water and the Word.

I didn't do it because something is wrong — I did it because I'm expecting God to move on my behalf, and because I want to be trusted with more.

Through these 3 days I realized food wasn't the hardest sacrifice... the gym was. And that's exactly why I had to do it. I needed to show myself that the gym is not my God. I love it, but Jesus is still my Lord and Savior.

I'm proud of the man I've become. Through all the trials and tribulations I've conquered, I'm doing pretty good for myself. And God is just getting started.
