On 3/20/2026 our baby girl turned 6 Months! Alani has grown so much and it is extremely bittersweet. Below, I have posted her 5 month old pictures and her 6 month old pictures. Her personality is truly showing, and we have such an expressive happy baby. Her motor skills are incredible, and so is her intelligence and awareness.

Alani has already started trying to use her own spoon to eat solids (which is a messy funny adventure). She just started practicing drinking water from an open cup and she is great at it with help. She loves playing with and chewing on her toys, and has started trying to use her own hands to drink her bottle.

She is curious of EVERYTHING. If it’s in arms reach, she can grab it. If it’s not, you best bet she will contort her whole body just to reach it. Not even our phones and remotes are safe (so I try to keep it away when I have her unless we’re on facetime with family because girl will be relentless).

Alani is finally getting the hang of rolling over 🤣 most of the time she would rather twist her body on the floor to reach a toy and then get mad that she can’t reach it. She is still learning how to move her arm up to properly roll, but yesterday she did it on her own when I was making a bottle. She sits up better than she rolls. She can balance herself while sitting up unsupported on our bed for a good minute if she has a toy in front of her 🥹

She has even started trying to speak!! “Dadada”, “Nyanyanya”, and “Blahblahblah” are you things right now. As I am typing this she is just lying and babbling while chewing her hand 😭. Her laugh is infectious and lights up a whole room. That attitude is strong as well 💀. She is becoming such a big girl already and our hearts can’t handle it sometimes.

(Last night as I was rocking her to sleep, she couldn’t get a sneeze out for the first time and got mad and yelled. I cackled for a couple of minutes.) by @kingdgw

Alani Mae Wolmack is 4 months old!! 🧡 At her last pediatric appointment, she weighed in at 17lbs! She is in 3-6 and 6 month clothing, wears a size 2 diaper, and we have to take the inserts out of her carseat because baby girl is LONG. Her personality keeps growing every single day. I feel like I wake up every morning wondering what new thing she will discover or figure out how to do that day.

She used to HATE tummy time, but now she enjoys it when there is a toy in front of her that she can look at and grab. She is trying so so hard to roll on her own, but still needs some practice. She rolled over onto her back one time without any help, but she will get there. On the other hand, her supported sitting is great!! Her toes are her best friend now🤣

We keep trying teethers, but she would rather shove her (or my) fingers in her mouth. No tooth yet 😭 but hopefully it will break through soon. Alani has started solids as well! Sweet potato seems like a hit or miss. Definitely liked green beans more.

We hear a giggle here and there, but she is still figuring it out. She loves to talk, babble, squeal, and scream. Her smiles light up a whole room, and she is super sociable. Let her get mad though? Everyone is going to know it. Everone she meets, loves her.

Super super late posting these 😭 Alani turned 3 months old on December 20th! This month has been a ride 😅 poor girl has already started teething, and nothing could have prepared us for seeing our baby in pain that is inevitable. Through the pain though, the other moments are so so sweet.

Alani is learning her voice, and it is a beautiful, amazing experience. The little squeals, the big squeals, talking, and even making noise while mommy sings to her makes our heart warm. She has so much personality! I could have sworn I heard her let out a small giggle the other day 😭

She is learning to use her hands! She grabs her toys that hang above her play-mat mostly unprompted now. She loves grabbing her blankies, her bibs, and her bottle (though she can’t hold it up yet). She finally discovered that she has feet as well 😆

She loves loves loves dancing fruit. I don’t put it on for her much mainly because I don’t want her to be dependent on a screen, but when I do she has lots of fun. Tummy time is going much better now. Baby girl holds her head up all the time now, and has great neck control. She loves looking around and finding new things to stare and smile at.

Everyone around her loves her, and it makes my heart full knowing that she has so much family and support. We can’t wait for her to learn more and to experience more life with our little one. We continue to thank everyone for their support through our journey 🩷 by @kingdgw

I’m a day late making this post, but Alani is officially one month old! The first month of her life has already been a journey full of laughing, crying, cuddles, milestones, and lots and lots of love. David and I love her so much, and we can’t wait for all the many months and years to come with our baby girl. 🧡✨ by @kingdgw
