“COCA-COLA’S GROWTH STRATEGY HELPED SHAPE DEEPER LIFE’S EXPANSION.” — DR. SOLA

Dr. SOLA recently shared a story about Pastor W.F. Kumuyi, founder of Deeper Life Bible Church, describing how a leadership encounter at a pastors’ conference in the United States impacted the ministry’s growth.

According to Dr. SHOLA, Pastor Kumuyi attended the conference after his church had grown to about 7,000 members. During a counseling session, he said one of the counselors believed Pastor Kumuyi would need far more than the allotted 30 minutes and instead spent about two to three hours with him.

Dr. SOLA said the counselor introduced himself as a former member of Coca-Cola’s board and explained how the company expanded from a local business into a global brand. He then shared those leadership and growth strategies with Pastor Kumuyi.

According to Dr. SOLA, Pastor Kumuyi later applied those principles to ministry, and he said they contributed significantly to the expansion of Deeper Life Bible Church.

“OUR CHURCH IS IN 24 ACRES OF LAND” — BISHOP MATTHEW ASHIMOLOWO

Bishop Matthew Ashimolowo has reflected on the early days of his ministry, saying he never imagined how much God would grow the church.

Speaking during a sermon, Bishop Ashimolowo recalled a time when only 11 people attended the church and everything could fit inside a car.

According to him, if someone had told him then that the ministry would one day occupy 24 acres of land with 12 buildings, he would not have believed it.

“If anybody told us one day our church will be on 24 acres with 12 buildings, I will say, ‘Ydrink water,’” he said.

Using his journey as an encouragement, Bishop Ashimolowo urged believers to trust God for what may seem impossible, adding that God has already prepared blessings that are yet to be manifested.

Quoting 1 Corinthians 2:9, he encouraged the congregation to believe that what God has prepared for them is beyond what they have seen or imagined.

“MINISTRY HAPPENS AUTOMATICALLY WHEN YOU HAVE A DEEP ENCOUNTER WITH JESUS.” — ELIJAH OYELADE

Gospel minister Elijah Oyelade has emphasized that ministry flows naturally from a deep relationship with God rather than becoming the primary pursuit.

Speaking during a conversation on ministry and intimacy with God, Oyelade said a person must first develop a deep connection with God before they can understand the things that matter to Him.

According to him, God shares His heart with those who are truly close to Him, just as people in close human relationships share what is important to one another.

Using the Samaritan woman in the Bible as an example, Oyelade said her encounter with Jesus led her into ministry without struggle.

“Ministry happens automatically,” he said.

He explained that after meeting Jesus, the Samaritan woman returned to her city and told others about Him, and the people responded by following her to meet Jesus.

According to Oyelade, that is the kind of ministry that flows from a genuine encounter with Christ. by @kingdomboiz_com

“HOW CAN YOU SAY YOU LOVE THE HOLY SPIRIT AND STILL ENJOY WORLDLY MUSIC?” — REV’D KESIENA ESIRI

Rev’d Kesiena Esiri has shared his thoughts on the ongoing conversation about Christians listening to secular music, echoing concerns recently raised by gospel minister Dunsin Oyekan.

According to Rev’d Esiri, believers should be careful not to mix devotion to God with worldly influences, warning that such a lifestyle can affect their spiritual growth.

Sharing his views, he wrote:

“How can you claim to love the Holy Spirit and still enjoy worldly music?”

He also expressed concern over what he described as a growing mixture of godliness and worldliness among some Christians.

Using an illustration, Rev’d Esiri said some believers worship God during the day but later turn to secular music for relaxation, adding that he believes this pattern has serious spiritual implications.

According to him, the pleasure people derive from worldliness can gradually make them less sensitive to God and hinder genuine spirituality.

Rev’d Esiri further emphasized that a vibrant prayer life cannot be separated from consecration, encouraging believers to live lives set apart for God’s purposes.

💬 Do you agree with Rev’d Kesiena Esiri’s perspective on Christians listening to worldly music? Share your thoughts respectfully. by @kingdomboiz_com
