Back in 2019, at the peak of my obsession with The Dark Knight Rises, I spent time going through all the music from the score and curating a 50-minute mixtape of all my favourite tracks. At the same time, I took 1 of my 5 physical copies this film and ripped the Blu-Ray to get a high-definition digital file. I dropped it into my editing software to study some of the edits and just enjoy certain scenes whenever I wanted. I had my 50-minute mix, I had all the footage, and I decided to take the two and make an abridged isolated score of my top tracks, matching them with the scenes they fall in throughout the film. Excluding tracks 9, 13, and 15, almost all visuals match the picture as seen in the film. I did some creative editing to fit the tempo but essentially, we’re in sync with the magic originally created by the wizards that produced this film. So, call it a fan edit, labor of love or my pure desire to have more “Isolated Scores” included on physical copies of media but I sincerely feel the music of this film has so much gravity to the visuals that it needs to be recognized on its own and I give my love of this to you… the people. August 10, 2012. Today is 14 years since my Mom passed away… even though it does get easier… I’m not over it.

I decided to process my feelings with a small edit, with a focus on a song that is linked to my feelings about losing a parent and reflecting on all the new moments that are missed by those who leave us. by @kingeasy

Buffy Forever | Man’s Best Friend

An old saying that hits home when you have to say goodbye to a loved one. Buffy was a sweet, energetic, loving, and funny dog. Everyone loved her personality, and she was a perfect family pet. We rescued her at two years old and spent 9 wonderful years with her going on many hikes, beach excursions, camping trips and everything else we could include her in. I appreciate all the comments on social media and those who reached out directly to offer condolences. My grieving process was relieved by the thousands of images that we captured over the years. The photo collection serves as a quick stop to enjoy some of the memories we had and share them with everyone. So long Buffy and thanks for all the slurps!❤️❤️❤️
