Huge weekend for KING Hoops. Congratulations to our 15u on bringing home the Gym Rat Championship, our 17u on finishing as runners-up, and our 16u on making it all the way to the Quarterfinals.

This marks the first time in program history that all 3 of our high school teams made the playoffs @therealgymratchallenge. History made!

Awesome day at SUNY Purchase this week as @jaydenmanhe_ and @lee_dimes_ took official visits to campus! @purchasembb

The guys got a chance to tour campus, check out practice, see the dining halls and dorms, and get a firsthand look at what life as a college student-athlete looks like there!

Even more special was getting to catch up with two KING Hoops legends and alumni, Seven @7dunlop and Maurice @show.time.11! Seven is entering his freshman year with the Panthers, while Maurice is heading into his sophomore season as a team captain!

Really cool to see our current players learning from guys who came through the program and are now making their mark at the next level.

Today is National Coaches Day and we are so grateful for our special coaching staff! 👑🏀

Our coaches pour into our student-athletes day in and day out, not just on the court but off the court as well. We are so lucky to have such committed mentors and role models who deeply care about our kids as both players and people.

More than just teaching the game of basketball, our coaches are committed to teaching life skills, building relationships, and being there for our kids every step of the way.

Thank you to all of our KING Hoops coaches for everything you do for our program and our student-athletes! 💙👑 taken in New York, New York by @kinghoopsny

Yesterday marks the official launch of the first ever KING Hoops College & Performance Academy. This is a huge milestone for our program and are so excited to bring this program to life.

When putting this academy together, we wanted to listen to what our high school student-athletes actually need heading into their school seasons. Those answers were more targeted skill work, more strength, conditioning, and agility training, and more preparation off the court.

Day 1 yesterday started with pre-testing across a number of areas, including the 3/4-court sprint, max vertical jump, 10 down-and-backs, max push-ups in 1 minute, pro agility lane drill and more.

Following testing, we got into our first skill development session led by our KING Hoops coaching staff.

Over the next 8 weeks, our group will train twice a week with targeted skill, strength and agility work, along with weekly workshops covering topics that are relevant to our kids on and off the court.

At the end of the 8 weeks, we’ll run the same tests again and see the progress each participant made throughout the program.

A lot more to come. Day 2 on Thursday! 💙🖤 taken in New York City by @kinghoopsny
