Yesterday was one of the greatest moments of my life! I was able to create my art for my favorite basketball player @stephencurry30 and not only he excepted it he loved it! I swear when I tell you keep God First and watch him work! He will never let you down I asked God in my prayers to please allow me to experience this moment and he granted me the blessings! ๐Ÿ™‡๐Ÿพโ€โ™‚๏ธ Iโ€™ve been doing fashion since 2002 and when I tell you I wanted to Quit so many times but I knew I had to keep going and believing in myself! I am so thankful I didnโ€™t give up!! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ To my family members who believe in me with actions @thehunkster1 @fabbydavisjr1 you didnโ€™t have to do this for ME!!!! and use your platform and your time to bring this dream to life! What Iโ€™m feeling right now has no definition for it! My Art!! ALL them HOURS OF my CRAZY IDEAS my OBSESSION with thinking out the ๐Ÿ“ฆ is starting to see Harvest! KING MELLY:THE ART OF LUXURY FASHION๐Ÿ‘” MASTERY TAKES TIME. QUALITY HAS A PRICE. Today I had the opportunity to interview @kingmelly , a fashion stylist, tailor, designer, and entrepreneur who has spent years learning the fashion industry from the inside out. What stood out to me most was his understanding of quality. In luxury fashion, itโ€™s not simply about putting a high price on a shirt or suit. Itโ€™s about the fabric, craftsmanship, construction, fit, attention to detail, and time that goes into creating something that is built to last. One of the biggest lessons I took from our conversation was simple: You get what you pay for!!!! If you want to master something, you have to be willing to study it, learn the details, make mistakes, and put in the work. You canโ€™t expect to understand an entire industry overnight. King Melly took that approach, learned from some of the best in the industry, mastered his craft, and is now building his own luxury brand with a strong team in Italy and here in the United States. What makes it even more powerful is seeing a Black-owned fashion brand being built with this level of intention, craftsmanship, and vision. This interview reminded me that success isnโ€™t just about having a vision. Itโ€™s about mastering the craft behind the vision. Donโ€™t just wear the brand. Learn the craft. Build the brand.
