Okay, hear me out 🔱 I walked into @kingneptune1947 for lunch today and immediately fell in love with the menu. Ribeye. Chorizo. Blue crab? CRAB RANGOON?! What is happening right now!!!I knew right then I had to document this — even though my camera was with me for shots of Wrightsville Beach, not food. Worth it.Took my first bite, let out a very loud OMG, and Jon shhh’ed me.Pro tip: go right when you walk in. Pirate flag, string lights, neon in the corner — a dive bar that fell in love with a cocktail lounge. Add a perfect orange crush and boom. New date night spot.Chef Nick @thereal_chefchavez came out to say hi while I was standing on a bar stool like an idiot getting the shots. Perfectly Wilmington, perfectly me, and perfectly delicious.Best-kept secret: at dinner the full menu runs on both sides. Sit under the pirate flag, eat like it’s a special occasion.Since 1947. 11 N.
