Sugar Crash — Halloween, The Day After 🎃 😣 ✨ 🍭 🍬 🤣 by @kingpin623
If the Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow were alive today, he’d probably be a Waymo or Robocar 🤣 😱 🐎 🎃 They say the Tesla Robotaxi forever roams the streets, searching for souls to fill the empty void behind its steering wheel… 😱 👻 🔄↕️↘️🔀 🚗 💨 by @kingpin623
When the calendar says Halloween but you just can’t wait any longer to turn on those Christmas lights 🤣 🎃 👻 🕷️ 🎄 by @kingpin623
Fri 16 October was my second visit to the what is probably one of the lesser-visited “venues” in this area; when I was last here in March 2023 I got to trudge through snow to see the Wyoming-Colorado-Nebraska Tri-State Marker. I didn’t name this album Tri-State Tomfoolery for nothing! 🤪 This time I still had to avoid tripping in the ruts, but at least now they weren’t hidden beneath several inches of snow! There was also the navigation around and through the sagebrush 🌾 #TriStateMarker #ColoradoNebraskaWyomingTriplePoint That’s not the CO-NE-WY tri-state marker: that’s just the sign by the road! The actual marker is a ¾-mile hike due east from here 🥾 Where three states meet! Lower half is Wyoming, upper left Nebraska, upper right Colorado There’s the inscription disc on top; tough to see Nebraska, but it’s there… Nearby plaque with a description and history of this particular tri-state marker Looking from the tri-state marker, that blue arrow is pointing to the stone monument at Panorama Point, ~¾ mile east and the highest point in the entire state of Nebraska. You’d never know to look at it from a distance! And there it is again! Lots of windmills around the area too. The sun will likely set before I get back to Cheyenne… 🌅 That sun being low in the sky makes for some nice pics of the fence, windmills, and utility poles For some reason there’s a large round metal water bin at the foot of that windmill by @kingpin623
Fri 16 October — heading out from Panorama Point in Nebraska to the Wyoming-Colorado-Nebraska Tri-State Marker. Though they’re only ¾ mile apart you can’t walk from one to the other, so it’s back in the Jeep and back onto the main road to drive over instead. #WyomingColoradoNebraskaTriStateMarker #tristates #tristatemarkers I love the scenery out here… 😍 Yeah, it would’ve been easier to walk! Turn in the road Windmills everywhere in the distance… …and windmills up close… We’re not there yet: that’s just the sign by the road! The actual marker is a ¾-mile hike due east from here, and so that’s another post altogether… 🥾 by @kingpin623

For a period of ~20 minutes on Friday 16 October, I stood higher than anyone else in the state of Nebraska; that was during my visit to Panorama Point. That’s only the third state in which I can make that claim (the others being Texas and New Hampshire). But this time no mountains were involved… 🤔 #PanoramaPointNebraska #HighPointBison #HighPointBisonRanch #PanoramaPoint Panorama Point is maybe about a mile from the road, but they don’t want you hiking to it — they want you to stay in your vehicle and drive to it! That said, the only animals I saw the whole time were a fly or two 🤷🏻‍♂️ That fence to the left there is the Colorado/Nebraska state line The angle of the sun and the shadows from the rails made for a challenge taking a good pic! There it is: the highest point in Nebraska 😮 Last time I was here (March 2023) there was just enough snow on the ground that I wasn’t sure how the road out here would be, so I had to wait over 3 years before I got another chance ❄️ Quick sit break Barely a mile high, it’s still higher than the top of Scottsbluff, which means the elevation must drop at least 400 feet between here and there 🤔 Not a cloud in that sky 🌞 Those other entries were from the day before. I guess I was the only one there on Friday 16 October! I stayed until about 4:30pm. by @kingpin623
He shouldn’t climb fences like that — he might fall and break a bone 💀 🩻 🦴 💥 by @kingpin623

Hey if you walk your dog in the Bluffview neighborhood of Dallas I know a place that has some bones for them to chomp on🦴 🐕 by @kingpin623
