Even when presented with nothing but space and opportunity I find myself sticking to what's comfortable sometimes. Let's break out of that mindset and start on our next adventure.

A life-changing story he’ll never forget.

A daughter. A moment no one saw coming.

And a reality that hit harder than anything he could’ve prepared for.

Check out #ptsfpodcast Ep. 187 for more stories from CDR. Frank Bonner and CDR Desmond Walker.

Feeling abundantly blessed as we continue building a community of people who enjoy celebrating each other’s wins, embracing each other during the losses and smiling all the same during both. Thank you! 🙏🏾#makegoodchoices by @kingsiri06

Took the golf cart to NSU’s homecoming parade… and rolled straight into something rare: the Divine Nine moving as one. 🖤💛

While everybody was celebrating, the team was on a mission — reminding people to check that voter registration. Showing up together means nothing if we don’t show up at the ballot box too. A voteless people is a hopeless people.

Are you registered? Drop a 🗳️ if you are.

And the work doesn’t stop at the parade route. December 5th is our Black & Gold Scholarship Ball — every dollar funds scholarships. Tickets and tables at the link in bio. Pull up. 🎟️

I’ll be honest, I probably wouldn’t have taken the time to do this impromptu shoot if my wife hadn’t given me a little nudge. But looking at these photos, I am so happy I did.

Life moves fast, and creating these memories is truly what matters. It seems like just a few short weeks ago, there was no way this little one was sitting up unassisted long enough to take even the quickest picture!

Shortly after this shoot, little “Kool-Aid” actually decided to start crawling. Seeing these milestones firsthand instantly reminded me of the moments when my own kids started theirs.

Grateful for the gentle reminders that each moment in life is another opportunity to build yet another memory. Make good choices! 👑 by @kingsiri06

Today represents the very last time I check into a new command. First day of school energy—just swapped the backpack for Navy Khakis.

No matter how many years you’ve been putting this uniform on, walking into a new command always brings that same mix of excitement, fresh starts, and first-day nervous energy.

My personal mission parameters for Day 1:

1. Listen first and feel out the vibes of the new team.

2. Keep the @talleyandtwine locked on schedule (aiming to make the ambassador roster one day ⌚️).

3. DO NOT accidentally walk off with the boss’ cover this time. (If you saw my last post, you know the struggle is real 😅).

4. Proactively I admit that the stars on my Good Conduct Medal from my enlisted days are crooked before the comment section inspects me. Proof that perfection is still a work in progress.

Every assignment is a chance to stay humble, remember where you started, and build something meaningful with the people around you.

Day 1 in the books. Ready for the work ahead. 👑 by @kingsiri06
