Unless I am conscious of BEing that which I seek, I will not find it 🦋✨ I AM

Love this video of Gil Scott-Heron explaining the meaning behind the phrase “The Revolution Will Not Be Televised”. This video reminded me of a quote that changed the way I operate in this world. “There is no way to bring about the outer perfection we seek other than by the transformation of ourselves (our mind)”. “Everything we do unaccompanied by a change in consciousness is but futile readjustments of surfaces”. Once you change your mind, the outer world as it pertains to you must change. And it will change in magnificent, meaningful ways. I’m talking real change, not the infinitesimal, temporary changes we see by our action alone. So no matter the situation or topic, you must go within 🦋✨#gillscottheron #aswithinsowithout #therevolutionwillnotbetelevised taken in Atlanta, Georgia by @kingtekk
