Yesterday I received a call that my mother had stepped through the veil at 53. These past three months she’s been battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Those who know my mom knew that she was a soldier battling M.S. (Multiple Sclerosis) for many years. I couldn’t imagine someone dealing with M.S. and cancer. I am so grateful the Lord gave me that spiritual prompting to fly back to Alabama to see my mom earlier this week before this happened. She is out of pain and in a happier place with loved ones who have gone before. There are no words that express the love and gratitude I have for this queen. My mom has taught me to seek the will of the Lord. She has taught me how to be a disciple of Jesus Christ through her wonderful example. I love you mama and I can't repay you for everything you've done for me in my 21 years on earth.

I have a testimony that death cannot divide families sealed in the temple. Our separation from departed loved ones is only temporary. Thanks to the Lord's great plan of happiness, we can all face the future with
great faith and hope. But ultimately it’s our actions and everyday choices we make that will get us to that point, we still have to put forth the effort the Lord requires of us. When we go through difficult trials, the best thing we can do is deepen our faith in God and serve others. Then He will heal our broken hearts. He will bless us with peace of mind. I assure you that Jesus Christ is our Savior and our Master Healer. I’m grateful to know that my loved ones who passed away will have that opportunity to be together! Jesus Christ has risen and because of that, we can be with our families together forever!

Alma 7:11-12
11 And he shall go forth, suffering pains and afflictions and temptations of every kind; and this that the word might be fulfilled which saith he will take upon him the pains and the sicknesses of his people.
12 And he will take upon him death, that he may loose the bands of death which bind his people; and he will take upon him their infirmities, that his bowels may be filled with mercy, according to the flesh, that he may know according to the flesh how to succor his people according to their infirmities. by @kingtriggs_
