Il y a des voyages qui se racontent mal,
des tempêtes qu’il faut simplement traverser.
Et il est des ciels d’orage qu’il faut contempler seul, avant de trouver les mots pour les partager.

🇫🇷La pluie est sans âge, hors du temps, avant nos pas, avant nos os. Née dans la colère des ciels, la cendre, les cris fossiles des continents en marche.

Si l’eau avait une mémoire, elle parlerait des forêts couchées, des mondes engloutis, des corps rendus à la boue, et de ce qui persiste encore sous nos pieds
quand tout a déjà disparu.

🇬🇧Rain has no age, it stands outside time, before our steps, before our bones. Born from the anger of skies,
from ash, from the fossil cries of continents in motion.

If water had a memory, it would speak of fallen forests, of drowned worlds,
of bodies returned to mud, and of what still endures beneath our feet when everything else has already vanished.

🇫🇷Voyager avec elle a changé ma façon de voir le monde. La nature s’offre autrement, plus vive, plus profonde, plus exaltante. À travers son regard, chaque halte devient un minuscule miracle, et chaque horizon un appel qui nous traverse.

Et puis il y a ces prétendus humains
qui abandonnent leur chien sur la route des vacances, et qui s’amputent alors d’une infinité d’éclats de bonheur.

🇬🇧Travelling with her has changed the way I see the world.
Nature offers itself differently — sharper, deeper, more exalting.
Through her gaze, every pause becomes a tiny miracle, and every horizon a call that cuts straight through us.

And then there are those so-called humans who leave their dog on the roadside for a holiday, amputating themselves from an infinity of bright, living joys.

🇫🇷Pendant des mois, les feuilles ont parlé.
Elles ont raconté leur venue au monde dans une verte tendresse,
leurs noces d’été aux pluies enchanteresses,
et leur parure d’automne, leur robe de princesse.

Et puis l’hiver.
Alors seulement les branches prennent voix.
Une voix rauque, montée du bois fendu,
qui dit les années qui pèsent,
le vent qui cogne,
les orages qui taillent,
les insectes qui creusent,
les oiseaux qui passent,
et cette fatigue antique que seul le bois connaît.

🇬🇧For months, the leaves have spoken.
They told of their birth in tender green,
their summer vows under soft, spellbound rains,
and their autumn dress, shimmering like a little queen.

And then winter.
Only then do the branches find their voice —
a rough voice, risen from split wood,
speaking of years that weigh,
of wind that strikes,
of storms that carve,
of insects that hollow,
of birds that pass,
and of that ancient fatigue
only wood remembers.

les jours s’achèvent en apothéoses dorées,
et l’année nous offre son dernier flamboiement d’automne.

Mais nous, n’attendons pas la fin
pour hurler notre lumière.

🇫🇷À vous, mes compagnons égarés : lunettes, clés, lampes de poche, chapeaux et autres fidèles éphémères.
Vous qui avez connu le fond des canapés, les herbes humides, les parkings anonymes, les plages et les tables de bistrot.
Je ne vous ai pas oubliés — c’est juste que mon esprit court plus vite que mes mains.
Et parfois, en retrouvant l’un de vous, j’ai l’impression de revoir un ami perdu de vue depuis longtemps, ou de rassembler un fragment de moi-même.

🇬🇧To all my misplaced companions — glasses, keys, flashlights, hats, and other fleetingly faithful things.
You’ve known the depths of couches, the damp grass, the faceless parking lots, the beaches and the café tables.
I never truly forgot you — it’s just that my mind runs faster than my hands.

🇫🇷Deux reines dressées sous le ciel : la roche dans sa colère pétrifiée, la chienne dans sa douceur absolue.
Et moi, à genoux, poussière parmi les poussières, recueillant dévotement l’instant afin de l’offrir à ceux qui, comme moi, cherchent l’éternité dans le souffle du monde.

the rock, in her petrified fury, the dog, in her boundless grace.

Elle n’est plus qu’un souffle éteint sur le sable, et pourtant elle porte encore l’insolence du vivant dans la lumière qui s’y accroche.
Parfois, la beauté réside dans cette rage de flamboyer jusqu’au dernier souffle — insoutenable persistance de l’éphémère, ultime hurlement du sublime.

Nothing but a breath gone still upon the sand, and yet it still bears the insolence of life in the light that clings to it.
