In the world of AI, I am increasingly becoming more and more grateful for the days where the wind was whipping my face and I'm fighting for the shot.

Nothing will replicate the feeling of walking back down after we had 5 minutes of shooting time, because it was truly treacherous weather (shoutout to @fab_gabb + @kinnonjob for being the biggest champs on this earth). It was a high that I will hold close to my heart forever and a feeling that could never be artificially generated.

I want my couples to look back at their photos and remember the feelings, all of them: the anticipation, the anxiety, the thrill, the calm, the discomfort. I want to remember how human all of this really is, for as long as I live.

I will shoot more film, I will slow down more, I won't rush this process. I will cry with you. I will laugh with you. Because this is what it's all about. taken in Edinburgh, Scotland by @kinnonjob

No service no problem 🎞️

Finally getting around to develop some film from Alaska. This was my first trip where I prioritized film over digital, and other than the cost of film it couldn’t have gone better. Alaska just makes it easy.

@kyleremcgregor and I spent nearly three weeks in Alaska and the majority of our hikes we were the only people on the trails. Also, almost every trail head has bathrooms so that’s 👏🏼 👏🏼 taken in Alaska by @kinnonjob

Summer 2020.

I felt drained, like everyone at the time. Mentally, physically and creatively. I saw @jermaldwayne post on his Instagram story that he was out for a ride on his bike with a friend. I immediately hit him up and drove to Antigonish. The shoot went perfect but i immediately fell back into my pattern of creative absence.

Gab and I were getting significantly more gigs and were busier than ever. Photography became all about work and less about being creative. I made a post similar to this last year saying that I want to do more creative shoots but that fell through the cracks. Something feels different this time. I have been feeling the most creative I have in years and I am ready to create again.

I’ve already been in lots of peoples DMs trying to line up creative shoots. With that being said, I will be moving most, if not all, of my paid work over to @thestudio224 and keeping all of my creative work here.
