Introducing Squeaks the Dragon from @dannygo_official’s Bravest Knight music video!!! I know Squeaks has wide, white eyes, but my toddler was pretty set on the green😂 This was SUCH a fun project! We love Danny Go! a lot in our home and getting to create something that my toddler can dance with when he’s watching Danny Go! is so special. Officially adding “pattern designer” to my resume!! I have created my FIRST EVER original pattern! 😭 I wanted to create a ragdoll-like rabbit in overalls. After a whole weekend of frogging and starting over and organizing my chicken scratch into neat, legible instructions, I have completed this sweet girl! I am currently bouncing around some names in my head! She will be ready for some pattern testing in a couple weeks!👀 I have so much respect for you all that do this regularly. Creating a pattern from scratch is HARD WORK! But it’s so so fun and I’m so glad I gave it a shot! The other day I took my oldest with me to pick yarn specifically to make him and his brother teddy bears! He picked this light brown for his bear and wanted him to have a little blue jacket. I gave him the finished bear and he immediately asked where the jacket was. I told him I needed some time to make it. Last night I finished it and snuck it onto the bear while my son was asleep. I am very proud of this furry friend!! I had an idea that I wanted a floppy bunny wearing overalls, with a doll-like body and fur ears. So I combined two patterns and added some of my own mods and brought her to life!!
