This Friday, November 6, Kinship is the community partner for @wildforkfoods National Donation Day at their Glendale store!

Every pound of featured products you buy will be matched pound for pound by Wild Fork, and that protein comes straight to Kinship to help stock our shelves for the holidays.

👋 Stop by our table from to say hi!

Protein is one of the hardest things for us to keep on our shelves this time of year. Thanks to Wild Fork, your grocery run can help feed a neighbor. 💛 by @kinshipmke

📺 Did you catch our own Shania on TMJ4?

“Feeding people really brings people together.”

Shania, Culinary Manager at @kinshipmke.cafe, joined TMJ4 to talk about the Caring for Our Communities Million Meal Pack, happening this Thursday, November 5, and she’s right.

Pick ‘n Save, Metro Market and Mariano’s are bringing together 2,000+ volunteers to pack one million jambalaya meals for families experiencing food insecurity across our region. 🥘

Shifts are just two hours, and it’s a great way to show up with your friends, family, coworkers or community group and make a real impact for our neighbors. Grab a shift at www.mealpack.org by @kinshipmke

You're invited to a Meat Raffle benefiting Kinship!
When: November 08 · 12:00-3:00 PM
Where: @yourofficemke 763 N. Milwaukee St, Milwaukee, WI 53202

How It Works:
The meat raffle runs in three 1-hour sessions, with prizes awarded every 10 minutes. Grab your tickets and see if you walk away with a meat prize package from Ray's Butcher Shoppe.

Filling our shelves goes beyond food drives and donations. We often need to purchase high-demand items like meat, milk, eggs, and cooking oil to supplement donated items so that our neighbors can have a well-rounded, healthful pantry.

Not a meat-eater?
We'll also have a 50/50 raffle! Every ticket sold adds more money to the total cash pool. We'll draw one winning ticket. The winner gets 50% of the total money raised, and Kinship gets the other 50%. by @kinshipmke

Girl Scouts from Troop 11360 came by the Urban Farm this past weekend and built trellises! The trellises were placed in our community raised bed garden and will be filled with beautiful climbing flowers and produce come spring. Thank you! by @kinshipmke

THE BAY GAVE BACK!! 10,159 lbs!!! That’s a record! Thank you to the Whitefish Bay neighbors who donated food, the WHS students and teachers that facilitated pick-ups and drop-offs, and everyone who volunteered their time to get all the donations into our Community Food Center.

Tomatoes, cabbages, and squash, oh my! 🍅 Kinship Urban Farm in Glendale has an incredible impact on the community; connecting people with fresh, organic produce through their Urban Farm and Food Center. 🥬🥕

I loved seeing this urban farm during my recent visit to Milwaukee County in preparation for the 80th Alice in Dairyland Finals, May 13-15, 2027! There’s always more to explore, even next to the freeway. 😉

From the ground up. 🏗️ The steel frame for our new home is standing, and every beam brings us closer to more space to grow, cook, and gather with our neighbors. Want to help build what comes next? Every gift adds to the foundation. Link in bio. by @kinshipmke

Thank you to the team at @wholefoods Wauwatosa for filling our Nourishing Our Neighborhoods van with fresh produce and pantry staples! Ours was one of 112 hunger relief events hosted by Whole Foods Market on Tuesday. Donations like this help ensure we have the resources to meet the growing need in our community. #NourishingOurNeighborhoods by @kinshipmke

By connecting with other organizations through our Stride program, we can help our neighbors access additional resources beyond food. At our first community digital literacy program through Everyone On, 15 community members attended 10 hours of in-person training. At the end of the training, they were able to take home a free refurbished laptop. 💻 by @kinshipmke

Basketball is only part of what we’re building. 🏀💙

At the Antetokounmpo Academy, we believe leadership extends far beyond the court. This summer, our Milwaukee athletes stepped into the community to serve, learn and experience what it means to show up for others.

Through service-learning experiences across Milwaukee, they put one of the Academy’s core pillars into action: using their time, talents and voices to make a difference.

Because developing great athletes matters — but eveloping young people who understand the impact they can have on the world around them matters even more.

Proud of the way this group showed up — for each other and for their community.

Thank you to our incredible community partners for creating opportunities for our athletes to learn through service:
