A tasting workshop hosted by our roaster Long, where he shares with you his approach to tasting coffee without shouting fancy flavor notes but only focusing on the things that matter most in a cup. 📍Mokkamestarit Coffee Roastery, Kuukuja 8 E 🗓️ 6th June 2026, 14:30–16:00 Language: English ⚠️ Only 6 spots available What this workshop is about: No pressure to invent fancy tasting notes. This workshop focuses less on “detecting raspberry marmalade” and more on understanding what actually matters in a cup: balance, sweetness, acidity, bitterness, texture, roast character, and overall drinking experience. Who it’s for: This workshop is suitable for anyone interested in coffee, especially if you feel that most coffees taste the same or are unsure what you’re actually tasting. This year, our roast made it to the TOP 5. Now, we have only a tiny amount of this coffee left, and we want to share it with you. MEET OUR MC🥁 LONG NGUYEN! ”Hi I’m Long - I’m short, but my name is Long. Currently, I roast coffee at @mokkamestarit in Tampere. Besides coffee, I’m a magician and enjoy running long distances (no pun intended). My side quest is to run and do magic in every city I set foot in. Coffee has taken me down a pretty deep rabbit hole. Most of the time, I like to geek out and play with the details, from roasting to brewing to tasting. Other times, I just enjoy the cup to know that I’m still alive. I’m super excited to be the MC for this year’s Brewers Championship. AAR: The race that cooked me Aim: 3:45:00 Finish: 3:44:44 ✅ - new PR Last year: 3:57:58 13 minutes faster. Good 👍 Steady 5:20/km for 42.2km. Good 👍 Tiny negative split. Good 👍 Gáy sớm rồi ăn hành. Bad 👎 Cramps again at 36km. Bad 👎 Chews instead of gels. Bad 👎 No injury. Good 👍 9 gels/chews total, fueling went well. Good 👍 Funny to see everyone was suffering at this pace. The 5th slide caught the exact moment when the cramps hit me in both quads and left calf. Looks like I’ve just shat my pants. Still pushed through and finished strong tho. Luckily no injuries after the race 🙏 by @kinwynn
