this might look like a short comic but it's actually a real story.

While sneakily rummaging through my aunt’s closet, I came across the “Cool Book of Cool Stories”. Curiosity got the best of me, I had to check it out! My excitement was quickly subdued by the arrival of an unwanted flying guest, whose buzzing was driving me nuts.
“Thou shalt not consult thy book in ventilated areas” - said the disclaimer on page one of the “Cool Book of Cool Stories”. In a fit of rage, determined to exterminate that pesky little bug, I neglected this rule, and soon grew to regret it. What was supposed to be a targeted wind attack became a hurricane that swept everything in its path, scattering the pictures all over the room. Why they were so loosely attached to the pages, I still don’t know. My best guess is that what held them together wasn’t a bond between ink and cellulose, but something else entirely. What I know for sure is that my aunt soon discovered the mess, and wasn’t happy. She made me conjure health crystals all summer long as a punishment. Worst summer ever.

_Da piccolo giocavo al computer e con le action figure e sto cercando un modo per continuare a farlo anche da grande

_Giuseppe Castagno, in arte Kioma, mago archeologo di Battipaglia (SA), classe 2002. Mi piace immaginare i miei personaggi come combattenti di un’antica civiltà guerriera. Cerco di produrre sia ritratti, sia armi, artefatti e reliquie, che testimoniano l’esistenza dei miei eroi, spaziando tra pittura, disegno e scultura. Sono figlio dell’internet, mi ispiro a fumetti e videogiochi, ma cerco di mantenere un legame con la storia dell’arte. Attraverso il digitale-antico creo l’antico-digitale.

_When I was little, I used to play on the computer and with action figures, and now I’m looking for a way to continue doing it as an adult.

_Giuseppe Castagno, aka Kioma, magician and archaeologist from Battipaglia (SA), born in 2002. I like to imagine my characters as warriors from an ancient civilization. I aim to produce both portraits and weapons, artifacts, and relics that testify to the existence of my heroes, spanning across painting, drawing, and sculpture. I am a child of the internet, drawing inspiration from comics and video games, but I strive to maintain a connection with art history. special thanks to @olomroczek , I couldnt bring the sword home with me and so I just left it in a park for someone to pick it up. He not only grabbed it but he also took some amazing pics <3<3<3tysm.
