it’s been a year without you, and I still don’t know how to live in this reality. I’m trying, but nothing feels the same. Every day I wish I could call you, laugh wit you, or just sit in silence like we use to. You was my motivation, my brotha in every way that mattered. I think about all the things we dreamed about, all the plans we made, all the conversations about the future… and it hurts knowing you not here to see everything play out. I wonder every day what life would look like with you still in it. I wonder what you’d be accomplishing, how many lives you’d still be touching. I miss you man. You always had the answers. You always knew how to make shit make sense. You always showed me love in ways that I never had to question. Some days I’m numb. Most days I’m just hurting. I feel you around me, but I still want you here. I still want my brotha. My right hand. I hope you see me trying. I hope you see me growing. I hope you know how much of me is because of you. I hope you feel the love I’m still giving you every day.I miss you brotha man. More than I’ll ever be able to put into words.
