August 20, 2017. Infinity Mirrored Room—Aftermath of Obliteration of Eternity, by Yayoi Kusama, temporarily installed in Seattle.

This was always one of my favorite pictures but I don't think I've ever posted it anywhere. The sensation of floating in an endless field of light, feeling simultaneously tiny and infinite and full of love - it was euphoric and humbling at the same time.

Every Kusama piece I had the privilege of seeing in person was a gift. I hope she rests well. taken in Seattle Art Museum by @kir626

Therapist says I need to chill the fuck out and do a self care so I got a massage, drank spa water, went out to dinner with some cool coworkers, and then sat on the hotel balcony and listened to the ocean until I got sleepy by @kir626

Holy shit

It's POTS. It's been POTS this whole time.

I'm grieving and I'm relieved.

They ruled it out three years ago. But they were wrong. It *was* PEM, the fatigue was *real* and explainable, it *wasn't* just anxiety. I thought I was losing my mind for years, thought I wasn't working hard enough, thought it was my own fault I felt so bad. 😭 I felt so scared and alone.

I'm so fucking glad I got that genetic testing done. Who knows how long it would have taken otherwise? by @kir626
