Women like this is who I wanted to be when I grew up. I remember the first time I saw this cover. I was about 9 years old at Fusion comics in fort collins, browsing the Heavy Metal Magazine back catalog collection (I started collecting Heavy Metal about a year before that). I pulled this issue out and felt a combination of being in a trance and exhilaration and familiarity. The way Luis Royo paints women left an indelible mark on me. by @kiralynnsands

Practice detachment from linear and detachment from all limitation☆ by @kiralynnsands

Working on a collection of short(er) and sordid stories that I'm trying to release a week before Halloween 🎃 The story I'm working on right meow is set in 1996. Its an interconnected web of murder that sparks from a metal radio show contest, asking listeners to write in with the worst nightmare they've ever had. What was always thought to be a dark fiction of the mind, turns into... a real life nightmare! 🔪 💀 by @kiralynnsands
