more figure drawings from last week! thanks @bow.market and @bostonfigurecenter and of course both models but I only know @rikki_l_pole

as part of my hot girl unemployed (hopefully not for long...) summer i am making an effort to reconnect with art on my own terms. it's wonderful that I now have so many options for free & affordable figure drawing open sessions around here. contours and values have started to feel like a fun puzzle again, and I really enjoy that feeling!

also, i think everyone should try figure drawing at least once, because even if you don't think you're good at it, it helps you be more normal about human bodies. we've all got one after all! by @kirbyburt_

my most recent watercolor painting of chanterelle (right) next to an old painting my mom had on her fridge. a lot has changed, but her highness's attitude has not!

I am still open for mini pet portrait commissions while i continue job searching, by the way! they're 3-4" and ship free in the US. one for $55, two for $80. feel free to dm me if interested! 🙏😸
