Love all things veggie gardening

You know your husband loves you when he'll stand in the rain and help you tie supports to your mahoosive celery after the wind blows it over.

This giant celery plant stands a whopping 1.5m tall and is full of the tiniest most delicate flowers. This celery plant was a prolific producer and was absolutely delicious so I'm really hoping to save loads of seeds.

Love you @hamish.kirby 💚

In honour of Spring, I decided to step out from behind the camera, sooooooo, this is me, Tanith, the person behind my page. This is my hydroponic celery, it is mahoosive and the richest green colour. I only use organic methods for growing all my plants which include nutrients, pest control and fertiliser. Happy Spring Day everyone 💚🌿🌻

I love rainbows and rainbow colours. I used my 3d printer to print net pots using a rainbow filament and ended up with this awesome effect. @hamish.kirby designed these custom pots to fit into a 45 cavity seedling tray so that I can transplant the pots straight into my hydroponic system. If you would like the STL for the net pots drop me a DM.

Beautiful ranunculus 💗💗. If you are in the Durban area pop in to @shongweni_farmers_market to see Dee at Extraordinary Edible Patch, she has an amazing selection of flowers and other plants and has an amazing knowledge of plants.

Purple podded pea perfection 💜💜 After a rainy two days I spotted this beautiful purple pod this morning. The purple flowers on this pea produce these exquisite pods. These seeds are from @numbi_valley

The last month has been challenging health wise, two hospital visits, biopsies, CT scans, ultrasounds, countless blood tests and days in bed and honestly some days of true suffering. The true low point for me was the second hospital visit, the medication that was supposed to make me better, waged war on my body and put me back in a hospital bed. I felt like my own body was turning on me and I wanted to give up BUT I didn't. I'm still here, I may be bruised, battered and a little weaker than before, but I will keep moving forward and I will survive. I'm grateful for friends and family and exceptional doctors who went the extra mile and amazing nursing staff who helped to keep the smile on my face. I'm grateful I survived.

I'm so excited to announce the launch of Marvellous Microgreens!!! I started growing microgreens 2 years ago because of their amazing health benefits and started selling small scale before surgery and health issues put a pause on growing. I'm starting again with Marvellous Microgreens and hope that these tiny super greens help me grow to new heights!!!

Germination station for winter veggies. Does anyone else have a germination station for those seeds that need a little extra TLC come autumn/winter? Happy planting 💚
