My Love Letter to America,
On your 250th birthday, I want to simply say thank you.
Thank you for the freedoms that have allowed me to dream, to serve, to love, and to build a life rooted in faith, family, and community. Like every nation, you have scars and imperfections, but your story has always been one of hope, resilience, and the belief that tomorrow can be better than today. Your strength lies in the incredible diversity of the people who call this nation home. Different backgrounds, different traditions, and different stories have woven together to create one resilient American family—united by the enduring ideals of liberty, opportunity, and justice.
Thank you for giving everyone the opportunity to pursue their dreams, and for making the American dream a unique goal for all.
My prayer is that we never lose sight of the values that unite us—service, sacrifice, compassion, and courage. May we continue to honor those who came before us by loving our neighbors, strengthening our hometowns, and leaving this country better than we found it. May I do my part to make it better for my children.
Happy 250th Birthday, America.

Would you believe 2 years ago I lost over 70% of my hair from lupus? And when it started growing back it came back curly after having straight hair my whole life? Finding blessings in the little things. Today curly hair is a blessing. 👩🏽‍🦱💜 by @kirklyn

Happy birthday to my soulmate, the love of my life, and my very best friend. 🤍
There aren’t enough words to explain how grateful I am for you. You make life sweeter, lighter, funnier, and more meaningful just by being in it.
Watching you this past year has been incredible. You’ve worked so hard, achieved so much, and earned every bit of the success that’s come your way — you promoted to Captain, you started a nonprofit that serves our hometown, you’ve excelled at your new job, and now you’re about to be somebody’s daddy. 🥹
Seeing the respect people have for you says so much about the kind of leader and person you are.
You have the biggest heart, the strongest work ethic, and the kind of loyalty that draws amazing people around you. The friendships you’ve built and the people who love and support you are a reflection of the impact you make everywhere you go.

Still smiling from the sweetest surprise 🐎🎉
We pulled off a Kentucky Derby-themed surprise party for Jack, and it couldn’t have been more perfect—from the big hats to the unforgettable moments.

So grateful for our church family who showed up, loved big, and made the day so special. Huge shoutout to Sydney and @brewteafull_cafe for an incredible banquet of food! And always my girl, @jessica.n.jung I couldn’t do it without you! 🤍

Last night was nothing short of incredible at the Hometown Heroes Inaugural Gala ✨
I’m so proud of my husband, Jackson—your heart, your vision, and your dedication to serving others is what makes all of this possible. Watching you bring this mission to life is something I’ll never take for granted. 🤍
A huge, heartfelt thank you to Jennifer McClard—there’s truly no way we could have done this without you. Your time, your effort, your attention to every detail… you carried so much of this night and it showed in every single moment.
And shoutout to Angie Fisk for your support and presence—it means more than you know!
The evening was absolutely spectacular, but more importantly, it was a reminder of why the Hometown Heroes Foundation exists—to honor, serve, and uplift those who give so much to our communities every single day. This is only the beginning. 🇺🇸

Today is the day we have been looking forward to for months… Jackson has officially launched his nonprofit... @hometownheroesfoundation ❤️

This organization’s mission was carefully crafted to preserve the legacies of first responders and veterans in our home state of Kentucky through memorial initiatives, educational outreach, and community engagement. The Hometown Heroes Foundation provides financial assistance during times of personal crisis, career counseling, career enrichment services, community building, and networking resources to support service members and their families.
Huge shoutout to the greatest vice president that the HHF could ever hope to have, @jennifermcclard! You are such an answer to years of prayer and you keep the whole ship afloat!
The website is now live, and our social media channels have successfully completed the beta test and are now public.
Lastly, to my husband- watching your vision evolve over the last few years into action and witnessing your heart for the community come to life has been incredible. This is just the beginning of the impact you’re going to make.
I’m cheering you on every step of the way. 👏🏼✨
