Beauty, Lately…feels angelic & romantic.

Beauty, Lately… feels like a win.
Yesterday, I was outside. Walking these NYC streets. At the Puerto Rican Day Festival. On the train. On the bus. In the park. Eating good food. Drinking coffee. Watching the sunset. Spending time with framily. Most importantly, being fully present in all of it.
Y’all, I watched the Knicks Championship on the corner of 128th & Lexington, in a lawn chair, outside a laundromat. That was authenticity at its finest. There was something so beautiful about witnessing such a historic moment surrounded by culture, community, and complete strangers united by one shared love.

The Knicks won the game, but the real win was watching an entire city come together while embodying the meaning of community. And as a New Orleans girl, that’s all I know. And it felt like home.

But the last 24 hours, I was a New Yorker and a Puerto Rican.
And y’all can’t tell me nothing. Ahahaha

Thank you to my Bronx Beauties aka Puerto Rican Princesses aka NYC natives for such an iconic day!!!
