A beautiful home is pointless if it’s not also healthy. We caught up with this month’s guest curator, @kishaniperera, to get her recommendations for products—from an organic mattress to nontoxic food storage pieces—that’ll help you detox and beautify your space at once. Blackbear is ready to part ways with his moody Los Angeles retreat. The musician has listed his custom-renovated Encino home for just under $10 million after purchasing the newly built property in 2023 and giving it a full redesign. Set behind gates in Amestoy Estates, the modern farmhouse spans 7,200 square feet and blends rock-and-roll edge with polished luxury. Highlights include a hidden movie theater concealed behind a bookcase, a guesthouse with a recording studio and gym, and a richly styled primary suite with its own balcony and fireplace. Outside, a pool, spa, cabana, and sports court complete the nearly half-acre compound. For buyers seeking privacy with personality, this is a home that clearly knows its rhythm.

It never ceases to amaze me how quickly and dramatically wallpaper can transform spaces ! One of my favorite bathroom facelifts did just that with new lighting, hardware, an antique rug and that fab wallpaper !! #kpiprojects #kishaniperera #bathroomdesign 📸 @dominiquevorillon by @kishaniperera

An eclectic, global mix has always had my heart, and can really be seen at our #losfeliz dining room. From a Moroccan light fixture and rug to a Chinese console, mid century Scandinavian style chairs, Tibetan artwork and an all American table, all framed by a pair of original 1920s Spanish style carved doors, it’s a quick trip around the world when you sit down to dinner here ! #kpiprojects #kishaniperera #interiordesign 📸 @rogerdaviesphotography by @kishaniperera
