Session 03 brings together five artists for a journey from midnight to sunrise, continuing the season in a hidden space built around sound, nature, and the dancefloor.

CATaria

Born in Bogotá and now based in Vancouver, CATaria moves between hypnotic techno, hardgroove, and acid-infused sounds with a style that is both versatile and deeply dancefloor focused.

A Vantek resident and one of the city’s rising underground selectors.

Höwley

Originally from Belgium and now based in Vancouver, Höwley blends house, techno, and darker underground influences into energetic sets shaped by instinct and movement.

Founder of HOWLE., a new label and creative platform dedicated to forward-thinking electronic music.

Kish

Originally from India and now based in Vancouver, Kish explores the deeper and more hypnotic sides of techno through carefully constructed sets built on rhythm and progression.

In 2025, he was selected as the only Canadian artist featured in BCCO Berlin’s New Faces Season 5.

Leon V

With roots in Mexico’s underground scene, Leon V moves through minimal, deep tech, house, and progressive sounds, building sets shaped by groove, flow, and the energy of the room.

Founder of Soma Music Hub and a long-time supporter of underground culture.

MiiiW

A collector of raw, experimental, and ethereal sounds, Miiiw explores the deeper edges of techno through hypnotic rhythms, ambient textures, and tribal energy.

After a packed first edition, Friction returns with a new chapter.

This time on June 5th, the focus shifts toward collaboration and movement- b2b sets, shared energy, and a dancefloor that builds through interaction rather than isolation. The lineup brings together some of the strongest voices in Vancouver’s underground techno scene, navigating between hypnotic soundscapes, driving percussion and unexpected turns.

Expect sets that stretch, overlap and evolve in real time, with visuals by Laine Butler adding another layer to the immersive environment.

On Friday April 3rd Friction lands at the Deli for a night of deep, immersive dancefloor storytelling.

The night brings together a lineup of artists shaping Vancouver’s underground through different shades of driving, atmospheric and textured techno. The evening unfolds gradually- moving from spacious openings into deeper, more tripped out sounds as the room settles into a steady rhythm.

AWood brings their powerful and expressive presence behind the decks, shaped by years of experience across festivals and underground spaces.

Kish leans into hypnotic and deep techno, crafting immersive sets built around deep low-ends and layered textures.

MiiiW explores raw and experimental sounds, blending hypnotic grooves with ambient and tribal textures.

Untorn shares her unwavering passion for techno through a sonic exploration of energy and emotion.

Xiumei rounds out the lineup with intricate rhythms and dark, left-field selections

Yum! opens the night, bringing her Japanese influence and tribal sounds to set the tone as the room eases into motion.

New Year might be a couple of days away still but this is officially Week 1 of 2026 and we have a fantastic set of mixes for you to bring in the New Year.

On the Main Mix Series we kick off the week with @parsajafari from Madrid and then stay in Spain for a mix from @sandersweet__. Next up is @l.aux_music from our home town of Berlin before we finish the week in The Netherlands with @lammermusic and @hujus.pace.

Originally from India and now based in Vancouver, @kishlay18_ channels the deep, driving essence of techno into immersive, hypnotic journeys. Inspired by artists like DVS1 and Oscar Mulero, his sound is rooted in tension, texture, and rhythm — techno that’s physical yet introspective.
