Hope y’all had a Happy Halloween 🎃 Had a lot of fun earlier at Redline with the kiddos and trick-or-treating in the neighborhood. by @kishnheather

Nine years. A thousand memories, Countless lessons, and more love than I’ve ever imagined.

We walked through loss, built dreams, lost parents, changed careers, moved homes. And kept choosing each other through it all.

It’s not perfect— but it’s ours. And I wouldn’t trade this wild, crazy, beautiful life for anything ❤️ by @kishnheather

From the day you were born to this sweet, spunky seven year old, watching you grow has been the greatest joy of our lives.

You are smart, kind, curious about everything, and so much fun to be around. A true nature girl who notices every bug, flower, and puddle along the way. You make our world brighter just by being in it.

Happy 7th birthday, Harper. You are such a gift, and we love you more than words can say. 💕 by @kishnheather

Mums, mountain roads, and morning coffee on the deck. Fall in Virginia is something else 🍁

Charlottesville friends, where should we go next? Pumpkin patch, orchard, favorite hike… Harper’s taking applications.🍁🧡🥰

Throwing it back to this little moment because fall always makes me nostalgic. 🍁 Some of the best memories are the simplest ones.

Hope you get outside this month to make some too! 🧡 by @kishnheather

I found this recipe a couple years ago and I do make all year round. But once the fall hints of in season veggies—I immediately think of butternut squash. Try it and let me know what you think. 👌

24 years later, and September 11th still feels different.

I still remember where I was. I remember watching it unfold and trying to understand how something so horrific could actually be happening.

So many of us can remember the smallest details of that day. Where we were. Who we were with. The phone calls. The television. The fear. And then, in the days that followed, the incredible way people came together.

Today I’m remembering the lives that were lost, the families whose lives changed forever, and the first responders who ran toward what everyone else was running from.

Some days deserve to simply be remembered. 🇺🇸 by @kishnheather

Someone get the fall bins because IT. IS. TIME. 😂🍁🎃

Cool morning on the porch, coffee in hand, and I’m already mentally placing pumpkins everywhere.

Fall is absolutely my favorite season… except Christmas, when apparently I forget everything I just said and fully embrace my inner Griswold. 🎄😂 by @kishnheather

The audacity of this girl 😂

No job. No bills. No children to raise. Meals prepared and delivered twice daily. Multiple beds throughout the house. Absolutely zero responsibilities.

And yet somehow SHE is the one who needs to recover from the day.

Being a British Shorthair is apparently very taxing. 🤎

I swear this cat lives better than all of us.

I love traveling, but I swear there is NO feeling quite like coming home, showering, putting on pajamas and climbing into your own bed. 😂🙌🏼

Especially when there’s a warm cup of chocolate involved.

Tonight’s little wind-down is Drift. 🤎 It’s become one of those things I reach for when I really want to tell my body, okay…we’re done for the day.

It’s a warm hot cocoa with magnesium, chamomile, ashwagandha, GABA, L-tryptophan + melatonin that supports relaxation and restorative sleep — and bonus, it helps with that little nighttime sweet tooth that somehow always finds me. 😂

After traveling, being out of routine and sleeping anywhere but my own bed…this feels VERY necessary tonight.

Home. My bed. My cup. Goodnight. 🤎

I consider myself somewhat of a bakery connoisseur. 😂

And by “connoisseur,” I mean I will absolutely rearrange my day for a really good donut, pastry or cinnamon roll.

This place did NOT disappoint. 🤤

Also… getting a peek at the racks in the back was probably not information I needed to have. 😂

Okay, serious question: what are you grabbing first??

I’m going straight for that pecan situation. 👀 by @kishnheather
