POSTS STORIES REELS

How did we go from being friends as kids to getting married and running a bagel business together?! Here’s our story! 🥯🫶 #itskismet by @kismetbagels

November menu is giving us allll the best fall vibes. 🍂🍁🤎

We’re SO excited about this one: STUFFING BAGEL. 🤯 Yes, you read that right. It legit tastes and smells like stuffing. So savory and so delicious. (Note: they’re not vegan. There is chicken stock in it!)

Schmear of the month: Cranberry Candied Ginger Schmear ♥️🫚

THE KISMET GOBBLER. A special stuffing latke, cranberry ginger schmear, turkey, and arugula all on a stuffing bagel. Need we say more?! 🦃🍗😳

Caramel Toffee Pecan Doughnut- an homage to our heroes @piesnthighs ! 😋🍩

Our drink special is a DOOZY: Sweet Potato Casserole Latte featuring a house made Marshmallow Cream Cheese COLD FOAM! 🍠

Alright, that was a lot, we get it. Take a deep breath, collect yourself - and come try one (or all) of these bangers! 🍁🍂❤️

Obsessed with @kismetbagels & their Backstory! Started off as a childhood crush, years later reconnected because Grandmas are the best. Got married only to be quarantined in a Global Pandemic.
.
While the rest of tried to bake bread, Jacob & Alexandra nailed the Bagel. First it was Pop Ups and now multiple Storefronts throughout Philly & NJ.
.
From unique cream cheese, to quirky Bagels. Gluten free options and seasonal flavors.
.
They don’t need any introduction, but the story behind @kismetbagels is literally “kismet”

My favorite location @manayunkdotcom you will find me there atleast 3 times a week.
.
My favorite order egg & cheese with Schug on an onion scooped bagel. (Don’t judge the scooped part) 😆

GUEST CHECK: A New Pop-Up Dinner Series

We have wanted to have a dinner series with rotating special guests for quite a long time. Finally, we’re diving in. Our first one is incredibly exciting: We are massive fans and supporters of Pearl and the @blueelephantwayne crew and we think we’ve whipped up something so delicious together. (Everything bagel croutons ground up and blended with tempura to coat the outside of a sushi roll? YES PLEASE.)

We’ve also been dying to collab with our dear friend Jeremy @mjukmjuk_sthlm for ages and we finally did it! He’s got an insane tahini gelato thang and an amuse Bouche.

One seating. 11/19. 630pm. Reservations are live NOW via the link in bio. 2 top or 4 top. We cannot wait to see you there!

PENN VALLEY IS CLOSED MON AND TUES - We are finally replacing our floors that were installed improperly when we opened. We cannot wait to see them the way they were meant to be!
***Please visit/order from Manayunk in the meanwhile!

We will see you back there on Weds 10/28.
Cheers!

Which bite would you like? Come take your pick 😍#bagel #creamcheese #philly by @kismetbagels

I didn’t realize @kismetbagels @kismetluncheonette also makes brioche donuts

4th slide is their usual glazed donut, it’s semi sweet, nice and puffy, and the glaze cracks in a satisfying way

2nd & 3rd is their current special, a Cinnamon Toast Crunch dusted denser donut filled with a cereal milk cream; surprisingly the cream isn’t crazy sweet but the dusting is bc it’s literally crushed up Cinnamon Toast Crunch and I like that balance together

KISMET EGG ALERT:

We’ve heard y’all over the past year regarding our steamed egg patty that we started making about a year ago. Today, we return to the Classic egg folds that you knew and loved. NO DAIRY, just eggs / salt / pepp. We couldn’t be more excited and hope you are too!

When scaling a business you often make decisions that can increase efficiency - sometimes they work and sometimes they don’t. While we have enjoyed the steamed eggs (and plenty of you have), it has been the #1 most mentioned complaint / review since we implemented them last year, and as of today, they are gone! Thank you all for your feedback and honesty. Please continue to keep it real with us.

Go snag an egg Sammie today, and enjoy!
