Cathy’s Place is where comfort meets creativity. Named after my Grandmother (Meema) Cathy I wanted to create a place that embodied how she used to run her family kitchen!

Rooted in Polish tradition and reimagined through a bold Mediterranean lens, it’s food that feels familiar but hits completely new. Handmade, soulful, a little unexpected every dish is built to bring people together.

This isn’t just a meal, it’s a feeling. Warm, vibrant, a little nostalgic, and meant to be shared.

Cathy’s Place is about community, storytelling, and giving classic comfort food a fresh identity.

WE BACK WITH EPISODE 5

ON DA MENU…..

CHICKEN SCHNITZEL WITH A LEMON BUTTER BEER CAPPER SAUCE

This is going back to those Polish roots and of course German

1. Tenderize a thin slice chicken breast
2. Season salt pepper
3. Add a good layer of canola to a pan (we are shallow frying)
4. Make an egg wash then panko bed and add your chicken and fully coat.
5. Check oil make sure it’s not smoking then add your crusted chicken cook both sides 2-3 minutes check temp when flipping
6. Remove when done and add 2 sticks of cut butter, cappers, shallots, a Beer lager preferred and parsley and whisk well to smooth creamy consistency.
7. Plate and boom your golden

Yellow Fin Tuna Tartar

IN THE BOWL MIX

. Tuna diced
. Juice of 6 kumquats
. Half lemon
. Zest of lime
. Salt pepper
. Shallots mince
. Cappers
. Green onion
. Sesame oil
. Chili oil
. Olive oil

PLATE!

. Add chives
. Kumquat slices

SERVE WITH

. Sourdough crostinis

Easy, light and fresh impress anyone with this easy A+ snack
